Mac OS Show your OS X Desktop!

Nothing special here either, no GeekTool, just a minimal wallpaper. Running 10.6.3 aswell.

Nice one..did you use some sort of theme for it or manual customization?
I was interested in the calender like date icon on the top right, date/time/weather placement and the download/upload speed indication in the taskbar..mind sharing the details?

Clustrophobia - Planning to clean out EVERYTHING. But I'm so used to this setup... I can locate the icons with my eyes closed!

Weather Conditions, Date on desktop using Geektool (Google is your best companion)

Menubar Items - iStat menus 3.0 (costs 15$)
 
i initially followed 2 guides from insanelymac but the boot process failed always (using iDeneb ,kalyway , iAtkos...)

plz point to working and easy guides

i have an asus p5q pro (p45) + nvidia 7900gs

Thanks mate...iStat Menu is pretty interesting and Geektool seems to require some scripting, any good site for the same?
