@ quad, i had to pay a premium of Rs.525/- to my friend to get it back from him for you. :no: if i had told you this before, you would not have swapped it. (since sadly just like any other novice you spend a small fortune on useless / worthless gadgets which have sex appeal or envy factor only. but not invest or spend even a few rupees more to get high quality stuff for their passionate activity of pc technology. ) You had started to blame god, ur fate, the girl next door, etc...when i conveyed the msg of premium amount as initially demanded by my friend. now i cannot let this depression consume a budding Shamino of TE ...can i ??:hap5:
so the next time we meet kindly reimburse me this Rs. 525/-.

And dont you even think of selling this chip in future. even if you opt for an opty, return / swap back this chip with me , and i will return the premium amount of 525/- back to you. You may consider this as a long term loan / lease ......:ohyeah:

You shud have told me earlier abt it when i swapped the chip , will start saving now.

I was saving money for rechargeable batteries and the charger all gone now.

Regarding selling this beauty that wud never happen in my life.
I have waited for this golden moment since the day i started my research on the various
steppings of venice and this has always been my dream.

Quad , we have been through this before too. if i had told you about the money part you would not have swapped the cpu's. which would have left ur o/c desires unfulfilled.

and hey that paltry amount is no big issue or any issue at all....do not put urself under any tension or pressure for it. its ok whenever you give it.(will most probably go in for our lan gaming fund anyways....)

but for god's sake dont go about buying multi thousand bucks rechargable batteries / chargers and posting about it here ...:no:

on one hand you have to "save" 525 bucks for fulfilling ur dreams and on the other hand you spend thousands of rupees on misc stuff without second thoughts....:huh: thats what gets my goat ...

remember you still have to get good rams , psu etc ....

Get ur prorities right and be more focussed if you want to do any moderate o/c'ing....i cannot tell you how many days i had to starve to save money, sell my body parts etc ... so that i could buy quality components ...:ashamed: :( but i do not squander it away on stuff which i really do not need.

please do not compare any mere humans incl. the great shamino with GOD or God like qualities since it is out of context.

and all Serious o/c'ers are potentially shamino in the making .....
I was not implying a direct comparision but the name shamino equates to some great o/c'ing ....so i was implying a "budding great o/cer" .....got it.

I see that fire in ur eyes and that passion too ....

Now get back to ur work and we expect to see 3.0 ghz by tonight:clap: .......while I, XT, zhopudey and a few more TE members ponder about this over Dinner later tonight.....

ps: The bill will be in ur name offcourse....and i believe XT was mentioning something about going to Marriott or Taj for the Dinner ..;) after all a treat is a treat ....
 
well, all o/c experiments postponed for the time being.
Quad had a freak accident today morning. seems a young lass on a wagon R went over his leg (ouch !!!) when he was going to school / college this morning on his Mobike....

Wish you a fast recovery .....get well soon quad....

Quad are you OK, no fracture or anything naa... hope u have a speedy full recovery man...
 
apparently he is ok. was even on msn after he returned from college. however i have asked him to get a precautionary X-Ray done.....he was stationary on his bike near a signal when the young lass decided to go over the human speedbreaker (his foot)........
 
While i was waiting at the signal i felt some pressure on my leg when i turned back to
look what had happened i was like OMG a car on my feet.I was like gaya mera pair.
I was so angry at the lady u cant believe and that too i was getting late for my pracs.

Now leg is paining a bit but not that much.

Will be leaving at 4:30 to get the Xray done.
I went in the morning also but i was late as the Xray Clinics closed down at 12 Noon.

Its opens at 5:00 PM.

I just hope that i dont have ne sort of fractures.

Will keep u guys updated on the status.

Ladies seriously donno how to drive :@
 
yeah buddy thats right .... i don't know y but lady drivers are terrible ..... anyways good to hear that u are well ..... :) .... hope OCing will be continued :D

My Mum came 2nd in a Rally, twice :@.

if he is able to walk then mostly its not too serious. Bcoz the pain you get from fracture is unbarable.
At worse it will be hairline fracture, but that too hurts like hell.
What that has to do with overclocking though :P
Fracture = more time at home :bleh:

Ok guys Xray done and even showed it to my family doctor.
Thanks to god no fracture or internal injuries.

There is still a little bit of pain but my doctor said theres nothing to worry about.
 
You are lucky no fractures or anything..... lately TE has been plagued by members being injured....

Me, Masky, Bikey, Sunny, Magnet, now you, etc...etc...
