CPU/Mobo Socket 775 Pins bent. Now what?

I'm so stupid, that after reading this thread, I still wasn't careful, and bent 6 pins on my IP35-E when cleaning. Two pins were almost completely out of the socket. Some careful work with a very thin nail file, and I almost got it right. Thank god its working now! No more cleaning my PC ever

i had 2 pins bent yesterday of my board EVGA 780i SLI, got a needle.. spent whole night making it right... man it was intense

spending countless hours on research, ordering a quad core and a mobo worth 20k from US, buying the remaining parts for another 20k and breaking the pins while assembling the board.... PRICELESS

Why you people apply asymmetrical extra force on heat sink,resulting bend\broken pins.Take care and read manual before attempting actual kill.
