Sony announced that it will have a new PSP available later this year, think thanksgiving and it is 33 per cent lighter, 19 per cent slimmer and has TV out. Sadly it doesn't look that different at all.
It will be available in three colours, black, white and silver. The white model is a special Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron edition with a Darth Vader silk screen on the back.

The new model will ship as an Entertainment Pack and will cost US$199.99. The silver version will come with a copy of Daxter and a 1GB memory stick pro duo. The Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron edition won't be available until the 9th of October.

The black version will be available in a more affordable Core Pack and as such it it will retail for $169.99, but it only comes with a charger and a battery in the box. Sony expects to release some 140 games for the PSP this year.

so just lighter and slimmer , no onboard memory :( and no dark alex in the scene , iw onder what will happen of the new psp
 
and oh ya if thers video out on the new psp , i think a firmware upgrade shud give tv out on the existing ones too

edit: jus read it has a VIDEO OUT PORT means no added function to the existing ones :(
 
yeah no surprise dat they have not added more functionalities to it!!!

atleast onboard memory wud have been gr8...
 
i had highly doubted the inclusion of the on board memory of the psp ..

simply cuz it wd hv fuelled games piracy ...

Now i def think that DA was threatened by Sony ... cuz if there is this TV out port in it.. and then the likes of DA gettin down to it .. Sony is wd hv been on it knees.. no1 wd hv given a thought abt purchasing a PS3 or a PS4 then ...
