Assuming DHL clearance Fees and Customs ,5000 rs have been set aside for customs , Also which brings the total to 1,50,000 , i am in talks with some one who is ready to use His Card so setting aside everything We now have per cost phone at around 15700 + local Shipping( local shipping is 100 rs and 300 is insurance )

Does this mean the GO is on..? (and,you'll need to be more precise in your calculations.. ^^ 1.5L for 10 phones(including surcharge,customs and service tax) so how much for 1 person?)

shipping and customs over it, also i take it at 300$ (its above 500 gms and aramex takes that at 3lb ) and current dollar rates @ 52 rs = 15600 + customs - a bit more than the current offered price !!

pretty sure mpaspc's deal works out cheaper than the US one. and i've always found expansys expensive, both uk and us.

Didn't you mention that the 1766 GBP price is inclusive of shipping. And didn't you already add 5000 as customs? And dollar price is 50 right now. <-- I am with baniya



Anyways, im sure you'll put up the scanned/photographed receipts as well.So that can be hashed out later ..

Two things,

1.Is it mandatory for one to buy the gamer's pack,the dock,etc.? I've been asking this but haven't got a reply.

2.Also,we could try and strike a deal with SnS or ICCworld.Would that be any cheaper?

Dude, the dock costs like 10 pounds and is worth it. when buying a phone for ~15k i don't think shelling out 750 bucks for an OEM dock (not 3rd party crap) would make a big difference do you? since he already got the quote for the complete package, it would be all 10 pieces either with the dock or without it. this will have to be decided by everyone who's ordering.

Even with SnS or iccworld, the payment would have to be made in one go because the seller is going to ship all 10 pieces as one order.

mpaspc can clarify more if needed.

^^I think it's called the 'Experience Pack' and if I'm not mistaken it contains not just the dock but a case,a USB cable,3 game pack,3.5mm cable.

I get your point an 'NO' I'm not cribbing over 10 quids.I don't need the dock because I don't intend to use it.

Fair enough, but if a majority of others ordering decide they want the pack then we have a problem.

Lets see if this thing gets off the ground anyway. It isn't going anywhere unless someone decides to take the initiative to place the order. 1.5 lakh might sound like a big amount but everyone HAS to pay this person in advance, so that shouldn't be much of an issue.

^back in june it was a lot pricier. Only recently have sony cut down the price of this phone. Not only that, they've been in talks with EA,GLU,Gameloft to produce xperia play specific games. I think sony's trying to expand their xperia play franchisee, as sony faced 0% profit last quarter, they're converting to a smartphone only firm.

The dude mentioned above, definitely got lucky if he got it in june.

As for the dock, i think it's prty cool.. i'll take it. But need to see which case is being provided..

@mpaspc You posted that u'r already in talks with someone regarding ordering this, so i guess that clears this out. What we need is more people nd more people will only come if they know exactly what deal they'd be getting. Otherwise this wouldn't get off the ground. And you SHOULD read the link below.

all i need is time , there is time difference between UK AND INDIA , and those NAsty peole take 8 hours to reply to my email

@tufel - the experience pack has the dock ,3 game voucher an extra USB cable as i earlier mentioned
i am asking the seller of removing the dock all i got was a 4 GBP discount for the dock , the voucher code and the cable ~ 325

it is obviously worth it .

Is the phone SIM-unlocked or factory unlocked. The difference is(probably) , in factory unlocked we can unlock the bootloader by following the steps on sonyericsson official site. For the other, we'll need to spend 15-16 GBP + a lot of time and effort.and i want the white xperia play, color selection is part of the order right?

was in a hurry to try out fifa 12 ,

its factory unlocked

also i have no idea about color selection , for now its a no go !

Do ask the dealer when you next contact him about the color of the model hinting that we may want a white one. Also, confirm if the phone is R800i or the other model.

What other model?

We can decide how many of each color we want when members confirm their orders.

But first need to find out if the dealer will supply in multiple colors. I don't see why they shouldn't if they do have white in the first place.
