Hi.

I sold this Digital Photo Frame to HfiGuy. He made the payment on 21st June. After I posted my above post on June 21, I got a call from a friend on HFV (hifivision.com) and he told me that this person is "Spidey" from HFV and suggested not to deal with this person as he will surely throw tantrums later. But I thought that I have a perfect product so he should be happy to get it. Otherwise also, it is a matter of Rs.1,800/- and if he does something like this, I will refund his money. Before sending it, I thoroughly checked it and deleted my personal pictures and mp3 files from it.

I dispatched it on 23rd June and he received it on 24th June.

I got a PM from him on 25th June (06:10 PM):

Hi

I recieved the photo frame, but am not happy with its condition.

The border front frame is loose in one corner and is coming out.

the remote is not working.

i dont think this was a wise made purchase.

regards

I instantly replied (25th June (06:12 PM)):

Hi.

It was a 100% fine product when I sent it. Still, if you don't like it, please send it back and I will refund your money.

BTW, Are you spidey from HFV?

Regards,
Mg.

He did not reply. Today, after exactly 2 weeks, I got a PM this morning:
Dear Mgdelhi,

Pls be truthful to yourself. You say the product was working 100% fine.

But as per me the product was lying packed and unused with you for some time.
you did not bother to check if all was functioning well and parceled it to me.

I do indeed like a refund , only that I did not keep the box and packing after opening.

Still, i am not happy with the deal and will leave a suitable feedback.

thanks
Now I request TE members to suggest me that should I accept his blackmailing of negative feedback? I am ready to refund Rs.1,800/- but will it be fair?

He was not too busy that he responded after 14 days, he was very much active and logged in almost every day here and on HFV (selling his products).

I searched HFV and found a few instances like this on HFV, I can post the links if it is allowed here on TE.

Personally, I would not bother of a negative feedback of such a person because I am not here to do trading, in fact idea of selling some products which I don't use, came to my mind only after joining TE and other forums.

But I am bound to obey what TE and mods decide. I can refund Rs.1,800/- to him, to TE for betterment of TE. Not a problem. I do not want even the product back without box and God knows what has he done to it in last 15 days.

Suggestions requested. :)

Regards,
Mg.

^^That is sad :( create a thread in market feedback section with all the evidence and other such instances, atleast other members will be careful in the future.

Now he says "the seller is a cheater who dumps his unused junk on various forums.beware!!!"

Shame on him and I regret having dealt with this person even after getting a warning from friend.
