So my Sony Vaio VPCEB26FG screen got busted as i stepped on it after being drunk on saturday night 
Got cracks on the left part of the screen. Top half of the screen is visible perfectly fine, bottom half is gone completely. Laptop turns on perfectly fine, can navigate and use laptop through the top half of the screen.
- What would the cost of replacing the screen be like?
- Moreover, I am currently in the USA. So, thinking of buying a new one (around 600$) instead of getting the Sony vaio repaired.
- Would there be people willing to buy the sony vaio's battery, power cord, ram, hard disk since these were working perfectly fine and are working fine now too. If so, I can bring these along with me when i come to India in June.
Also, any reccos for a good laptop at around 600$ ? HP or Dell?
