Sony has announced its new lower-mid range smartphone Xperia M.

The Xperia M packs 4 inch FWVGA ( 854x x480 ) display with scratch resistant glass and it is powered by 1GHz Dual-core Snapdragon S4 MSM 8227 SoC along with 1GB RAM. There is 4GB internal storage with microSD card slot supporting up to 64GB.



It has 5MP rear camera with Exmor RS sensor, Autofocus and LED flash and VGA front camera. It offers decent connectivity suite including NFC , HSPA+ data connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi b/h/n. It has 1750mAh battery.

It includes the OmniBalance design similar to the flagship Xperia Z , which has color-changing notification light that can be personalized for different kinds of alerts. It also has STAMINA mode for higher battery life and Sony sound enhancements like xLoud, ClearAudio+ and 3D surround sound.



The Xperia M will be available in single-SIM variant and Dual-SIM variant as Xperia Mdual . The Xperia M will be available in black, white and purple and yellow ( only for single-SIM) variants. It will start shipping in Q3 2013.

M:- 4gb internal memory, 5mp camera, 4" screen size with slightly better 245ppi
L:- 8gb, 8mp, 4.3"

Common:- Processor, GPU, Battery...

Then whats new/adding value in M?!...
