Spice Mi 410 smartphone. 1Ghz snapdragon | 4.1" | Froyo | 5MP | 15K

^^:D And you had to base your assumptions on the phone of a Company that don't know how to implement good, usable GPS in their phones?
On my Atrix, First fix took around 45 sec - 1 min! Subsequent locks happen in less than 10-15 secs!
 
I am using Sygic for Navigation (with offline maps)

I tried 16GB class 10 , It works fine on Mi-410, (Brought it for 1750 from flipkart)

Well I don't know anymore, wiped data/cache reverted to Cherry 2.2.2 and then re-did the whole process yet no root! Guess I'll have to wait for that ROM now.

If you are still on cherry 2.2.2 then you can root with SuperOneClickv1.7-ShortFuse I also did exactly this, flashed back to cherry 2.2.2 and rooted through it and then tried SetCPU and Titanium and all the root things, then I flashed back to Spice CSL 2.3.4 and tried to root but no use...
 
Thanks for that. Any particular reason you switched to unrooted 2.3.4? Just trying to see if I lose a lot by downgrading to 2.2.2(for now).

touch is very smooth in 2.3.4 and look wise also gingerbread is more neat than froyo (Means they have improved overall UI) and they say that Gingerbread is resource friendly (good for battery) (Sorry personally haven't checked much about it because my phone is always connected to PC and USB tethering)

I think once you get used to Gingerbread 2.3.4 then you will not like to go back to Froyo 2.2.2 (Overall user experience is good in Gingerbread 2.3.4)

Is Silicon case available for our phone, if yes, where and how much, I'm interested in it and even though if you use silicon then also it will not save the camera lens/glass because there will be a hole for camera in silicon, I'm the using stock Leather cover (which is provided by spice)

Is Silicon case available for our phone, if yes, where and how much, I'm interested in it and even though if you use silicon then also it will not save the camera lens/glass because there will be a hole for camera in silicon, I'm the using stock Leather cover (which is provided by spice)

Even after using the leather cover provided by spice , camera glass gets scrach. this is the oly problem found on this phone.

i couldnt find a 8gb class 10 in my surrounding area...thinking of buying it online from "flipkart"

how is their service....do they provide original packing (that is hard plastic cover packaging and adapter for micro-sd card)

and what about their warranty services.

how much time it took to get your product?

and did you tried video recording(720p),does a little glitch occur while recording?

Flipkart is good.
 
I remember seeing a case for the Huawei x6 on ebay ( don't know which country) . It should work with our phones.

Also, i hear the screenguard for the x10 fits on this. That's on my buy list on the next visit to NP.

Tried uploading the 3 old versions i found when i was trying to root 2.2 but it keeps giving a "invalid file" error. Just look around. Shouldn't be hard to find.

I too have that from superoneclick root folder but they are not working, I think I'll wait for custom Rom...

harassed with cherry magnum GB 2.3.4....... eat battery a lot...... any idea, what to do now ...... should I revert back to 2.2.2 or change the flavor to CSL 2.3.4, if second option then how should I do that .......as I have tried to change ot from Chery 2.3.4 to csl 2.3.4 but not working......

I too have bought the same mi 410...I've requested for vodafone connect, it'll take 48 hrs to get activated, in the meantime is it possible to use the internet thru(vodafone live) or something like 10ps/10kb which I was using earlier on my other phone?

Goto Spice CSL 2.3.4, it is battery friendly atleast for me and going back to 2.2.2 is soo boring after using the smooth touch of gingerbread ;) atleast I'd not do so.

Surely, it's not worth it $9.99 means $10, and Rs. 443 INR, natively if this would be available then it'd cost no more than Rs.100/-
