“Last year we went out to Santa Fe for a week to sit down with him [Martin] and just talk through where things are going, because we don’t know if we are going to catch up and where exactly that would be. If you know the ending, then you can lay the groundwork for it. And so we want to know how everything ends. We want to be able to set things up. So we just sat down with him and literally went through every character.” - David Benioff
They are [catching up]. Yes. It’s alarming. I can give them the broad strokes of what I intend to write, but the details aren’t there yet. I’m hopeful that I can not let them catch up with me.” - GRRM

I hope he finishes the books fast. Can't wait for TWoW.

Reactions: Party Monger
Anyone ready for the wedding feast? Food plays an important role in ASoIaF books, and I'm glad it's getting the treatment it deserves in the telvision series too.

The second episode is going to be breathtaking, quite literally if I may add :D

^Mindblowing.

but now you will be watching it with your mind pre-blown, it cannot be re-blown.
P.S.
haven't watched it yet. At work.

Even though I've read it, it was still a surreal experience. The way it was setup, making the audience feel as uncomfortable as the wedding guests, and then boom. Amazing acting by Jack Gleeson and Lena Headey.

I know this is a great TV series and all but can anyone tell me how to properly watch it? I mean i have watched it season 1 but today i have no idea what happened and anything and i will have to start all over whenever I plan to.
I do not want to get lost and want to actually understand and enjoy the series like most others. I gave up only because i wasn't able to understand many things.
