Sprint iPhone 4s pre 11/11/11 will stay unlocked after iOs 5.1.1 update ?

Hi, I have a Sprint iphone 4s in Bangalore city, India which is sprint locked. Can anyone help me with a suitable advice to unlock the same. Can I use a sprint sim card to activate the phone? Can it be activated by an AT&T from US or other Indian sim card here?
 
You will need to use the latest Gevey SIM or R-Sim 3. Both will only work well with a 128k SIM, which you can ask for from your service provider.

This will not only be a future proof way of keeping your tickets safe but also if you get locked you can restore these tickets to unlock it again without the need of apple..... however you need to stay unlocked before backing up your phone's tickets/tokens......

I wanted to check which is easiest to unlock - Iphone 4S on AT&T or Verizon or Sprint? Also, is there any working tute anywhere showing how to unlock? How much does it usually cost to unlock these Iphone 4s phones online or locally at Bangalore? Which has most success rate?

Easiest to Unlock -> AT&T
Tutorial -> No tutorial for proper IMEI unlock, you cannot do it yourself
Cost -> Ebay.com -> find seller (i recommend unlock_fusion) -> Pay for unlock (varies...but usually less than 10$) -> Give them IMEI in the email you receive -> Get message from them (within a day or 2) that phone is unlocked -> Insert non AT&T SIM and connect to iTunes -> Enjoy your unlocked phone.
