The reliance CSR said he will provide with new no. and all registration process by paying Rs.150 only. But I know he wont be able to register without MSN thats why didn't go for try. Currently Im trying to find its new firmware and Android 4.1.2 to root and unlock bootloader.

I am not sure the CSR actually can do the MEID registration, he would require a handset already registered with Reliance to activate the connection. And btw its MSL - Master Subsidy Lock not MSN.
Once you have the SPC/MSL, you can pretty much do everything yourself.

Anyway keep us posted on how it goes.

You need to find the MSL or SPC without which you will not be able to activate the handset. The reliance store will not be helpful either. Once you have the SPC/MSL you can get the MEID registered with Reliance, which will cost Rs 500 or so.

Once that is done, you can visit the Reliance store to transfer the number or get a new connection.

and for phone.,put it in airplane mode,so your cellular radio gets switched off and then use on wifi.
so battery life may get even better.

Yes, by default the Sprint PRL registers to the Reliance network in India. Even though the activation process starts, it will ask you to contact customer care as the MEID is not registered. Once the MEID is registered, when you dial *228 it should ask you for a 9 digit code.

Yes the screen runs at 1280X768 resolution and has capacitive touch buttons instead of touchscreen as in nexus 4 to give maximum viewing space which is very good.
And the screen quality is very good. You can think of it over iPhone too..

Its MSL not MSN!

You won't need to enter the code, its just to verify once your MEID is registered. It was used earlier when Handset Change Card was available. Now they make the changes at their end, and you simply dial *228 and it gets activated.[DOUBLEPOST=1364792969][/DOUBLEPOST]

You still need to get the MEID registered, without which it will NOT work.

Programming doesn't mean MEID registration! MEID registration is something which is done at Reliance's backend and not on the phone itself.

Hi,
I rooted it using fiddy619's tool here on xda. I rooted successfully but was not able to enable DIAG mode using command line; So I unlocked its bootloader using GAIO V1.5 and then I installed custom recovery from it and after successful completion DIAG enabling commands got working. Then I ectracted its MSL and unlock code using CDMAWorkshoptool; I used that code to enter into DIAG mode and it worked perfectly; I got very happy to get MSL so easily. Everything was working fine until I restarted phone; and from there onwards first it booted with LG start-up music but screen was blank even after few minute while I waited. So I restarted it and it went to blank screen again after showing LG logo when I restarted it; So I restarted again this time it shown Fastboot screen where details were visible but options was not visible later on came to know they were there but was out of screen area. So I randomly selected voulume Up and Down and tried combinations using power button it restarted several times and then at one time I got into Clockworkmode. Then GAIO was able to detect phone till then so I did 'Restore Unlock Stock boot.img' in hope to make it work again but nothing changed. I tried mounting /sdcard in CWM but it gives error 'Error mounting /sdcard!'. CWM version is 6.0.1.5. I can access sdcard using ADB commands and I tried to copy .zip ROM file to it using push command and file copied successfully but when I list files using ls in ADB shell it shows nothing in sdcard. I'm also not able to recognize why CWM is not able to mount /sdcard while I am able to access it in ADB shell. I can't flash new ROM too because it doesn't have ROM file on SdCard and I am not able to put .zip Rom on sdcard though ADB or special ADB sideload method of CWM. When I execute 'adb sideload LS970ZV7.zip' it shows adb command help list. Adb version is 1.0.29 and I checked that it supports ADB. I know it is kind of soft-bricked. But I am able to use CWM and Fastboot but I cannot use Fastboot commands from my windows command prompt; it says waiting for device on every command.
When I mount /system in CWM; GAIO v1.5 recognizes the phone and says Root Status- Rooted and Device Unlocked: Locked. Windows detects the mobile and installs drivers. I tried formatting /sdcard from CWM but it gives error. I have attached screenshots of GAIO and windows detected devices of phone.
If anyone have any idea how to recover from this state..?

I had been in such soup but luckily one very kind soul from XDA helped me out.
my atrix 4g screen was dead and I had messed up bootloader and could recover after like 45 minutes of terror.
i dont have any advice for this current state of LG.
I had told you that cdma guy's contact,he would have done all stuff in 10-15 minutes flat.
Post on XDA see if someone can help you out.

Hmm, nice phone you got thr. I have ran into some issues with the phone previously and ended up with something like below






However the phone is so good that i bought another one. I have done some several mods on the phone inclduing
1) Hard mode which accepts every RUIM/GSM sim card out there.
2) Nexus 4
3) JTAG

@OP, Please be aware that you do proper reads before jumping onto any conclusions. My phone was not supported by anyone when it was bricked and it took me a month time to fix it with JTAG. This phone has some serious issues with the partition system due to which you can face some issues like sensors being borked up, no NFC and all that stuff.

1) You need to have your MSL/SPC, its very to get it on this phone and you seems to be getting confused. Type ##3424# in the phone dialer and Enable diag mode, after that download cdma workshop 2.7. You need to change the port of LGE Diagnostic Port to anywhere between 1-25 since the cracked version of cdma ws can only use ports between this range. Connect to the port, go to security tab, select LG Method and read SPC.

2) Now get your phones meid registered from anywhere.

3) Write PRL and other parameters to the phone and put a number retain request with R-World guys.

4) Do *228 OTA and use it.

The freegee method you are using will brick your device, i would suggest you to download free Freegee App from playstore and let it do the work. Once you are unlocked, you are allowed to block/remove any bloatware you do not want on the phone. I have tested the app for those guys and it works without any issues.

I guess you are unable to get your phone working atm ? If thats so, please post where your phone got stucked.

I have posted it on here on xda but one of developer of freegee answered it as to flash boot.Img but I am unable to flash using fastboot.
I have also contacted that guy you gave reference. Lets see. I will update you.

Hi,
Currently its not holding charge and if I put it in usb connected state its starts up and heats.
I cannot boot it into OS.
Its coming into fastboot after showing still LG logo for fraction of second. And from fastboot I am able to reboot it or go into Recovery(clockworkmode).
In clockworkmode I cant 'Wipe data/factory Reset' it gives error as 'Error: Cant mount /sdcard'. I tried manually mounting /sdcard but no luck same error; like this /emmc is also not mounting all other are mounting such as /system etc. but I am able to browse /emmc in 'Select Rom from sdcard' option.
I am able to push files to device in adb shell but files pushed to /sdcard are not visible shwn I list them using 'ls' command in adb shell.
adb sideload is also not working and when I put device to adb sideload in CWM and execute 'adb sideload rom.zip'; command prompt displays adb help menu as it doesn't recognize adb sideload command.
fastboot commands are also not working in command prompt. fastboot.exe is not able to detect device when I list devices using 'fastboot devices' it return blank line. And any fastboot command stucks saying [waiting for device].
Please help...

And I haven't flashed back to stock via lgnpst nor flashed boot.img which nutshell2 provided on xda. Lgnpst is not able to recognize device or I dont know how to use lgnpst. I have ZV7 Rom of Optimus G but don't know how to use it to stock restore LGOG. Also phone restarts after few minutes suddenly I think its because of its not holding charge in fastboot mode as it heats up and shuts down after few seconds of removing usb cable. I am worried if I flash and it restarts it will be a mess then.[DOUBLEPOST=1365404418][/DOUBLEPOST]

Plug the usb cable, turn off the phone and as soon as it turns off leave the power button and quickly hold both volume buttons, it will bring up the download mode. Download tsilenzios lgnpst auto toolkit and stock zv9 bin file and proceed further. Lemme know if you still face any issues, i have some secret stuff to unbrick this phone.
