were any of you guys able to unlock and use this phone on Indian Networks?
this phone is going for quite steal prices on Ebay auctions (if you win).

I am not aware of the terminology used for CDMA phones,

this guy here is selling unlock codes for the Optimus g e970
since LS970 and E970 are the same except for carrier i guess you guys could ask him if he sells codes for your LS970
guy is located in Chandigarh

CDMA phones do not have to be unlocked, and can only be used with reliance CDMA.
 
Please understand this simple thing, this is a cdma handset and this phone doesnt even have any space for putting sim card. You need to get the device provisioned according to the carrier on which you decide to use the phone.

So if someone buys a CDMA LG Optimus G, how would he get the phone working on Indian CDMA services?
 
I have posted a thread previously which covered almost all questions related to getting cdma phones working, but it has been closed by mods due to obvious reasons. It would be great if a mod can restore the first post of the thread, otherwise please use google or search the forum. It has been discussed many times before.
 
hey! I have a sprint optimus G - ls970. went through the same process of reviving the phone after the phone got screwed up using GAIO.
Is CDMA WS 2.7 enough to flash the phone to reliance. I'm unable to write the PRL file on the phone. Also, did you manage to get EVDO working on this phone?
