Car & Bike Suggest a good Bike . Budget 70k !

Hey Guys Please Suggest a new bike ranging around 70k max.....

My Options are

1.) Avenger 220cc

2.) karizma (old one)

I m currently having Pulsar 150cc 2006 Model....
 
thnx guyz....

i can raise by budget till 80k..

no one is supporting AVENGER 220DTSi which launched recently....

and wht will be average of Karizma and Pulsar 220 DTSi??????
 
Avenger can be a pain to ride on in the Mumbai traffic. Also just to addon the avenger that i frequently ride had started giving problems from the very first year itself. Although the bike looks and 'sounds' awesome the weight of the bike is too much for the large rear tyres to handle and hence skids if u do have to apply breaks in a matter of urgency.

+ 1 to Radiohead: The braking is terrible even when riding double. It has turning radius of a truck. Was a pain even on relatively less crowded pune roads. Not recommended for daily commutes. Period
 
here are a few suggestion for my side

1) Yamaha Fz/Fz-s fz would come around 74k fz-s 76k(i personally love the new color black green) avg in and around 35

2) bajaj pulsar 220 dtsi cost 84k. avg around 32(but there are cases where i hav heard giving avg of 38). also now they hav launched 180cc pulsar with the front of 220cc. i suppose u can check it out at bajaj showroom would cost less than 220

3) honda cb unicorn dazzler cost 72k. comes with rear disc brakes aweum engine(the trusted unicorn engine) and great mileage

4) apache rtr180.(hav not researched on this bike also none of friends own 1. so no idea about it.)

5)karizma (after riding pulsar and fz. you will get to know the difference. )
 
^Got to agree above two comments. Avenger is a PITA to ride traffic. Empty road you can relax and enjoy ;). Check out the Dazzler , FZ, Rtr 180, etc... Pick the one you like.
 
well FZ is good for me...but if someone is sitting @ the back...its a night mare for that person...bcuz i have been there once and fz is not comfortable....

regarding avenger: my friend is using it (200cc) and i have never heard this kind of problem frm him....
 
Maybe he haven't tried any other bike. I rode that bike for 3 years and trust me, a normal bike is any day better for our traffic condition. I now own a FZ and i travel 28kms per day, can't imagine how it'd have been with the avenger :S.
 
I own a FZ16 for the past 7 months and loving it. No maintanence problems and glitches. Suffered 3 minor accidents, maybe it was designed like that or maybe I was lucky no major parts were damaged. Rode more than 500 kms on a single day and no pain whatsoever. Mind you, thats the first time I am doing more than 150kms on a single day and I am not exactly fit :)

The only con (or pro if you had your girlfriend as pillion) is that the rear seat is very small and the mileage is not as good as pulsar. Every guy who rode the bike agreed that the ride quality is good.When the bike was brand new and not many have seen the bike, it used to attract many eyeballs.
