Hello Everyone,

I am looking for a laptop basically for programming and designing(mostly photoshop).
I need a good display with accurate colors(currently I am using a 24" IPS pannel, I know it won't be same with laptops, but I need something close)
I am thinking full hd (1920X1080) is possible, but don't know how it will turn out for a 14-15" screen. Any ideas?
I need the battery to last 5-6 hours at-least.
I need to install mac-os on it.
I wont be playing any games or anything on it, but don't really wanna go for a intel onboard graphics, so low end graphics card will do.
I need the screen to be 15" or less ( 14" i think would be ideal)

Ghosh, that looks so many points now that I have them all written out :bleh:

I am willing to spend around 45k or so, so what do you guys suggest?

Any suggestions, discussions are welcome. Please pour in your thoughts!

Thanks

Hows full hd (1920X1080) on 14" or 15" screen?
Baddest... really... just imagine how small the fonts will look... imo dont even consider it... 1366x768 is great for laptops ;)...

u can easily watch 720p movies... and GT420 can easily handle any game at this resolution... except crysis and much gpu intensive games but u wud b able to play games like COD black ops, Medal of honor , NFS etc...

@o.p,if you are eying mac o.s,just save up a little more and buy a macbook,or better still a MBP.Agreed they are overpriced and underpowered compared to windows machines BUT with o.s x they are miles ahead of any regular windows laptop.
