hi friends.i wanna buy a gaming mouse and keyboard.never bought any before.so i really dont know what difference the gaming mouse makes over a simple 150 rs mouse as i have been playing with 150rs mice for a long time.i dont play online just play offline campaign in games.
so i would like to get some reviews and suggestions regarding the same.
i wanna keep the budget to a minimum.max at around 1500rs
i have seen logitech g100 gaming combo over at many places.can somebody tell how good is it?
also there is one lenovo gaming mouse for around rs 600-http://www.flipkart.com/lenovo-m6811-usb-2-0-mouse/p/itmd5etzdk3nheqc?pid=ACCD5ETZSVU5H2ZD&ref=120dcc4a-2805-4693-a27d-365d6b7d162b

dbzgoku You can go for Logitech G100 Combo-1.6k Logitech Gaming Combo G100 Keyboard | Keyboard | Flipkart.com
It's very good option within your budget.Anything better would be over 1.5k so go for it,I would suggest you to avoid lenovo mouse as G100 has better built quality and performance.
If you can add few more bucks then Logitech G400+MK200-1.9k would be another good choice.Hope this helps.:)

please give me a link for g400+mk200-1.9k (and by mk200 you mean k200 right?)
also any review about kinzu instead of g400?

There's no combo of G400+K200 you;d have to get them separately Here's a link-http://www.flipkart.com/logitech-optical-gaming-mouse-g400/p/itmdyfy8dszryvaz,You can get the keyboard locally for 400/-,The prices have shot up recently otherwise the G400 was available at 1.6k.
ok thanks bro.but reviews about k200 on flipkart are telling that not to use the keyboard are telling that not to use it as gaming kb as many key combos dont work.so any other suggestions?
which kb are they using in g100 combo?is it available separately?

I've used K200 myself it doesn't have any defects so don't worry and get it.The G100 keyboard isn't available separately it's only available in combo.

My friend went from a LOGITECH K200 to the Razer and he said that the biggest difference in the performance was the reduction of input lag, played CS that night (after too much vodka), that guy went on a winning streak. That is the biggest difference in gaming and non-gaming peripherals.

Also, the combo issue that @dbzgoku raised is valid that has to do with the NKRO rate for the keyboard and most 'gaming-grade' keyboards stumble here, so it comes as no surprise that the K200 has the same issue. OP in your limited budget and the fact that most of your gaming is restricted to single-player campaigns it is best that you go for the following --

LOGITECH G300 / G400 mice ~1500/-
LOGITECH K200 ~450/-

Hope this helps, Cheerio!

I don't trust Razer Built quality.
What about Razer cyclosa combo? its available for 1800Rs
its having Razer keyboard and Abyssus mouse

yeah what about that?any reviews on that?

and ALPHA17 as you mentioned k200 is not good for gaming so what would be best g100 combo vs g300/400+k200(or any other good kb in that range)

I don't trust Razer Built quality.

so should i go with logitech then?also there is extra warranty with logitech.
also reviews on flipkart are telling that razer cyclosa bundled isn't good both kb and mouse and price is also high i.e 2500.

Yes you should go for Logitech,Many guys here have had problems with Razer Built quality so get Logitech G400+K200 combo. The keyboard problem can't be helped as your budget is less to get more quality keyboard.

Pathetic build quality, another colleague got this bundle, the mouse gave way in 3 months, just cheap on Razer's part in my opinion.

Best bet man and I have RMA-ed my LOGITECH G300, the process is a bit convoluted [as they sent the mouse to Bombay] but after 1 week I got a brand new piece, no questions asked; surprised with such speedy processing that too from Rashi Peripherals.

Maybe it was the vodka:P,Anyways that's the best for OP.

Naah, he had played with my Razer Lycosa once earlier, under the same conditioning [inebriated after our introduction to hard-drinks in college] and he had said that the response was much faster from a gaming keyboard [the polling rate is ~10x that of a standard keyboard].

I experience the same while I am typing on a local keyboard, I am used to my Lycosa so much it was infuriating using a local keyboard in my office [during inter-ship], kept skipping alphabets, will not respond, modifier key will not work properly.

ok.decided!will go for logitech only.just last question-is it necessary to buy mousepad also or that can be skipped?

It's your choice though i would recommend you get a good 300/- mousepad like Rantopad H-1 at least. If you want something better then Razer Goliathus Control/Speed edition-600/- are great mousepads.

Razer and SteelSeries give warranty based on date of purchase [verified by invoice] and the Serial # of the product as a cross-verify. They both offer only 1 year warranty in India vs. LOGITECH's 3 years.

The Kinzu falls between the G300 and G400 from LOGITECH and cannot quite scale up to either, sensor not as fast as the G400 and not many buttons like the G300. I recommend that you go for the latter two over anything from Razer OR the SteelSeries stable.

was getting razer deathadder(sealed no inovice) +razer golithus speed(used)=1.9k and
kinzu(sealed no inovice)+razer golithus speed(used)=1.3k
so no warranty on either.so i should skip these over logitech right!!

p.s-alpha17 can i have your phone number just so that if have to have any advice regarding any product i dont need to start a thread :-)
