PC Peripherals Suggest me a new rig TE geeks!

get the E4300 its cheaper and OC's more , i dont think you would want to go for a slim cabinet as they are a pain later on else there is a zebronics model thats sleek , if u are in delhi and ask SMC for a sleek cabinet that gurmeet fellow he will show u the models with ease in the catalog.
 
1 more thing..i wna ask is that...
ive got a 800va ups-inverter ...if i get a 380w psu or a 550-600w psu will my inverter b able to handle that...without fail?

AND...does a 600w psu consume more power than a psu of lower wattage from mains or inverter..whichever it is running...on.....

and a quick word on psu wattage for my rig...even if i overclock..
380w CM vs 400w powersafe vs 450 or 500w powesafe.
coz as per my budget i cant go beyond 1500 for SMPS..:ashamed:

i dint find xfx 650i ultra in Nehru Place...wt other options do i have...with same reliablity ...and price with 5k....suggest me some good asus mobos compatibility wise...with some basic overclocking features...
hope for some quick suggestions...

No a 600w psu does not consume more power. If your pc needs 300w, a 600w psu will give 300w only.

For 1500 i think you should get the 400w powersafe GOLD smps. Dont know the price of CM 380w
 
well you wont find the xfx any were , wht i suggest to you is look in the market section i think freaky is selling away his p5ne sli , its a great board and am sure u will like it too. a new p5ne sli comes to ard 7.5 k . other board in that range is a BIOSTAR P35 based mobo its also a good mobo , look in the dealers section and PM pheonix for that board he can have it a new board shipped you at a great price.
 
y is it that xfx is sparcely available n still u guys get it...frm where i dnt know...n u highly recommend it....y it isnt available in delhi..?
well yeah i had a look around biostar mobo...bt will that be under 5k?...if not which mobo can i get frm nehru place...as a good option for my C2D....

huh? u sure u checked for the xfx 650i at SMC? coz i had gone there arnd 10 days bak to get a e6750 and i remember seeing it on the shelves..!!

Maybe its out of stock now.. U can ask him to get it 4 u, usually does it in a week..
 
media isnt mch expensive...a blank lightscribe dvd media...cost abt 30 per dvd...
ok..ill check those out...ahem...bt wt abt tht 7600gt...is tht even available or not?

if i dnt wna overclock at all n need a decent onboard video...coz i dnt think 8600 gt is worth buying at that price...ill probably get a better alternative from UK thru my frnd after abt a month or two...
 
30 bucks is not expensive for media ? thats like 50 % and more of the best media u can have here in INDIA. u can have taiyo yudens , verbs , mitsu in 20 bucks :-)
