gigabyte superb 460w psu- 2200 bucks + ATI HD4870 512mb for 7.5k

Will ATI HD4870 512mb work with my current PSU

[quote name='Sumit05']Sapphire 512MB DDR5 HD5670 - 5.5k
Gigabyte Superb 460w - 2.2k
TOTAL ~ 7.7K:cool2:

will be able to play any at its full graphic properties

^---- You don't want to risk that. Those Iball PSU's are pretty shitty. Could kill your card.

I would suggest a Sapphire HD4850 512MB DDR3 ~ 6.5k and a Seasonic S12II 430 ~ 3k(offer from the Itwares).

Btw what is the size of ur monitor and what resolution u aim to game at?

Will ATI HD4870 512mb work with my current PSU

And any GPU which needs more power than the HD4650(>40-50w) is a risk with your PSU :P

The HD4870 nedds 150-160w on full load

want graphic card around 7000
and psu around 2000

At least listen to people who are suggesting you... Don't be stuck up on "7,000 ka Graphics Card & 2,000 ka PSU"...

If you buy a cheapo PSU and run a Radeon 4870 on it, you'll have a card that'll not perform to even 3/4th's of it's full potential...

Your best bet is a Gigabyte 460 Watts @ 2.2 Grands...

Anyways for 7 Grands you can get the following GFX Cards:
ATI Radeon 4850 1 GB
ATI Radeon 5670 512 MB/1 GB
Radeon 4770 512 MB
Nvidia GTS250
Nvidia 9800 GT

These are your choices, my vote goes to Radeon 4850/Nvidia GTS 250...

will i be able to play any game at its fullest graphical property

And by the way am not stuck "7,000 ka Graphics Card & 2,000 ka PSU"...

i just want to be clear at initial budget .i can increase my budget if i get good sugestion from u guys

i have 4850, and i can play anything at full at 1152x864, and my proccy and mobo are not as good as ur's

but i suggest u go for gts 250, if ur buying a new one,

else, if u want to go for a second hand one, go for 4870,u may get it for 6.5-7k

u can get a used 4850 for 5.5k,

as for power supply, take it seriously, u can go for zebronics 500W platinum,or something even better, may cost u upto 2.5k, but its worth

Hey buddy.. I didn't mean to offend you..:(

Anything equal & above Nvidia GTS 250/ Radeon 4850/ Radeon 5670 will simply rock at your monitor's maximum resolution...

If you buy a Radeon 5670, you can do with a 400 Watts branded PSU, the GTS 250/4850 will require you to have atleast a good 460 Watt PSU...
