Graphic Cards Suggestion for buying new graphic card for Rs.7000

I had a n iBall 650watt PSU for 3 years and that abrupt shutdown started happening in my PC too. You must buy a better PSU, even if you don't buy a graphic card.
 
4850 or above is an overkill for a resolution of 1366x. These are for gaming at 1600x or HD resolutions not at 1366x.

U can go for a good PSU for overall system system stability and get a 5670 which should be sufficient for your requirements unless you want a futureproof card, in which case i would suggest a good PSU - the likes of the Corsair VX series and a 4870.

650 watt is okay psu have u changed your psu
does it shut down abruptly
so which psu would you suggest at Rs.3000
 
Get a HD5670 + Gigabyte 460W or CX400 or Seasonic 380W (in ascending order of recommendation)

You will have sufficient upgrade headroom with all of these...

Or get a cheaper one if these do not fit your budget..

im confused between nvidia gts 250 and msi hd 5670

im going to buy gpu on 28 of april

if u wanna go dx 11 , then go with radeon 5750 ~8.2k otherwise go for gts 250 or radeon 4850

radeon 5750 is more vfm then 5670

n for the psu go for seasonic 380W

you may also consider an used 4850 for now which will come even lower then 5k (lookout for atleast 1 yr warranty, possibly a sapphire ) as for psu try get one better like corsair vx450 which will you more room for upgrade later - which you will need for sure. consider psu as a more long term investment then a graphics card.you should also mention your monitor or resolution and preference of quality(high/medium/low) for gaming.

HD5670 is better than 9600GT and GT240...

In most games, it matches 8800/9800GT but trails behind HD4770, HD4850 and GTS250.

HD4870 is in a different league, not to be compared with this card.

But HD5670 is very very power efficient, cool and a good buy for the price.

That card is as powerful as an HD 4870 but requires nearly as much power as well. Does it not exceed your budget? What about the PSU?

I told you guys i can increase or decrease my budget

and im was going to buy gpu at 7000

and psu at 2500

my total budget is 9500-10000

even if dont get a good psu i can wait for using gtx 260

get gtx260 provided it has warranty and get Corsair cx400 for 3k or seasonic 430 from itwares for 3k(offer price)....HD gaming would b possible with that combo...
 
Buy XFX Radeon HD 5770 ( 1GB DDR5 ) costs around @ 7000 and for get a zebronics platinum power supply 700watt @ Rs2800. Its great actually.

Of course its better than GTX 260, more over you get DX 11 and yes it will cost you around 9k max not 8k nt mre dan dat. :hap2: :hap2: Go on and buy this one with the psu i told, both are a good buy.
