Hi Guys,
This is my first visit at tech enclave and I need you help.
I am planning to buy a secondary Mobile phone for my second Sim, I already using Nokia n95 8 gb for the last one year and am quite impressed with the performance.
My budget is 10-12 k.

MY Basic Requirements are:

(1) Music
(2) if qwerty keyboard then it's icing on the cake
(3) Camera not as important
(4)Very Decent battery
(5 Wi-Fi if it's there then really good otherwise can contain without it too.

I have shortlisted following models till now
(1) Nokia 5230/5233( Both are available here)
(2) Samsung Corby Pro(Eye Catchy but i am seriously worried over Samsung mobile phones battery performance.my prior ex was not good)
(3) Nokia 5800 ( but is'nt too old now? :) )

(4) I have seen threads about Samsung Galaxy too but have no idea about it.

So out of these or any other mobile phone which can be recommeneded by the expert users here seeing my requirements will also be welcomed.
I would also want to know the pros/cons of each over the other

Waiting or your replies.
Thanks in advance
Thanks a lot

the thing is if you want a fully mature and reliable smartphone os.symbian and android 2.1 are the only options you have.if you want to buy a phone for looks i.e a physical qwerty keyboard then go ahead and buy the one you like!

Finally bought Nokia 5800 :).The reason were same as you mentioned.

I was out of town so was not able to use my mobile.came yesterday only. 5800 is really good.I have also updated the firmware. but i want to know one thing. kinetic scrolling is not fast. maybe it is bcoz of i am using my ipod touch which is ultra cool in terms of kinetic scrolling and hence finding 5800's scrolling a bit slow or is there some other problem?

i have similar req. i am thinking of buying spica for my bro..is the latest FW of 5800 hackable??

how does android fair in the apps department ?? even with all the buzz on the internet i guess symbian is still strong in this department

recommend some good android forums??

can spica be used as a modem without any problems so that i can use internet on the cpt.

Considering all your requirements, I think you should go for the Nokia E63. In case you want to buy a phone from the Grey Market, you can even get the E71 for 13K or the E71x for 10K.
