what happened to all tht talk tht the next prez cud be any1 between Infosys' Narayan Murthy or Big B...?? Big B as prez is ridiculous to think about but atleast Narayan Murthy wud have made a perfect prez...we need someone like him after APJ to carry on the good work..though its a known fact tht in india, Presidents are useless sitting ducks, but still, N. Murthy was the right Candidate for the post..or why not keep APJ on..??
 
I'm giving a serious thought to stating/joining an armed revolution against the political scumbags and this pseudo-democracy of ours.

i think we shud dump the president's post altogether..tht post is useless anyways in india..PMs hog all the limelight n make all the decisions here..what n irony, its as if the minister of a kingdom is bigger than the king and has more powers..:lol:

And hell, please no pranab mukherjee for prez...the first mistake was to give him the defense ministry.. thnk god he didnt hold on for long there..now it wud be an even bigger mistake to have him as prez..we want someone strong enuf for this post..tht bangali babu isnt fit for this post..he is too naive...:no:

That's one reason why I consider our constitution a very bad example of plagiarism. Our "great" constitution writers simply copied both the constitutions of US and UK and forged them together to create a spaghetti mess. This is why UK has only a PM, and US has only the president, but we have both - an unnecessary burden, much like most of our government and bureaucracy.

^@Yamaraj - correction: The UK does NOT have a formally written constitution..

Personally I feel Somnath Chatterjee would be a better choice than any of these clowns whose name is being floated around as well...Shinde, Shekhawat, Pranab Mukherjee, Arjun Singh :O But I guess he doesn't have much of a chance.

Well I don't care less if he's communist, saffronite watevr...all I know is, he had the balls to stand up to unruly MPs (initiating MP expulsion for instance). That's more than any of those suckers will ever achieve in their entire lives.

why dont the congress make rahul baba the president......we saw what he did he UP.....and he our future PM ...priyanka would had been much better...

nyways i vote for modi...than both mushi and modi will keep playing gili danda(with shahen 2 and agni)
