..instead of twatting about whether the post should even be there. That's pointlesss debate, Isn't it a for minorities position, so they believe thier ppl can make it, given they have absolutely no chance if they are not hindu or of the nehru/gandhi clan. he has not said no. He has said he is open to the idea of serving a second time.

But he wont be allowed to because he is a smart honest and dignified man. A man who does what is right. Like refusing to sign the Office of Profit bill and questioning some other policies of the govt.

The govt forced him to sign the OOP bill. And he had to. He has no powers to reject it.

But he made clear his objections to the bill.

The political parties simply dont want him in office. Pure and Simple.

The congress under the Gandhis always wants a pliable President. We all know what control Indira had over the presidents... e.g. the one who declared he would carry her chappals on his head.

And the communists think that the entire world should bend over to accomodate them.

I too strongly believe kalam should get a second term.But he won't get a second term since like nikhil said,he is a smart,honest and dignified man.So the italian will surely nominate one of her poodles for the top job.

BTW, the last thing the country needs is a commie d**k as their next president.
