@Ra.hul
as said above
"SYSKA gadget secure should be activated within 48 hours after bill date. After that one cannot active the code."

I want to ask something about this,
I bought a Phone from Amazon on 5th February (Yureka) (Thanks @veera_champ ) but received it only on 13th February
what if I want to insure my phone?
Phones bought online are invoiced on purchase date, but they may reach you as much as a week later.

I'm sorry, but the 48 hour deadline for submitting FOR and sim block letter is pure BS.

It's as if they do not want you to have any chance to make a claim.

Edit:

More BS is the cashless settlement policy of an equivalent handset.

We all know the law, I would like to know real user experiences. Anyone who has actually tried filling a FIR for lost phone? Without any contacts ?
Lost my two months old phone last Jan in Hyderabad.
Went to nearby police station, No contacts nothing, filed an FIR, they asked me to come back a week later citing some investigation period something.
A week later, took a duly signed report citing phone not found.
Submitted the same to Aditya Birla insurance, had to follow up for almost a month.
But the end result was satisfactory, was expecting at least 60%, but they gave a cheque for 90% of the phone value :D

After the Reliance experience, no insurer will ever insure mobile phones in India. This is unadulterated bullsh*t - a pure scam - don't fall for it.

These type of companies are cheep and thief. They make some conditions for claim or repairing which are imposible for a normal person. For example in theft condition they want FIR under section IPC379 which is bigger and tipical task for a general people. They better knoe about this so rule it. We have ask for RTI to them about % of insurence and % of claim return. And also they should clear that the condition for online FIR lodging when you have FIR ID. Syska says that Pic-pocket, gadget lost, unforcefull loss etc are not tha part of claim. In this condition who tell to them, any body will be intrested for purchase your insurance.

Looks like a crappy deal. 48hrs to file FIR and SIM block request? Is this a joke?
Handset of equivalent value and similar specification will be given in case of total loss, theft and burglary. Any kind of damage due to negligence or intentional damage, the claims for the same will be rejected.

All items are subject to a flat 10% depreciation charges
I insure mi4i (10k cost) for one year and after 10% depreciation, they give me crap lenovo phone worth 9k. What happens then? How decides what handset they'll replace with?

Well 48 Hours is just inform syska customer care about the phone theft and they don't give phone in replace they give money transfer to account
Please read their website for latest updates

Well not all companies are like what you think, Syska group is very big and work according to rules and regulation simple. If you lost a phone they need a FIR for claim as anyone would say their mobile is lost.

In case of any damage to phone, like
A) water damages with situations like dropped it in water or water spilled on it, or any toddler put it in tub full of water, rain, git wet during car or bike accident.
B) screen broken with situations like slipped from hands, toddler threw it from bed, broken during car or bike accident.
C) Electronic part not working with situations like charger got short circuit, voltage fluctuations during charging, overheating etc.

Please share your experiences of Syska gadget secure insurance with any of above situations or any other situations too.

As of now, I understood that I should not buy this as theft and lost are also conditional here.

And other blogs also have people with similar experiences.

Big No No.
