25-30k Tablet for reading and "Taking Notes" around 30000 INR for a student. (with pen and wifi)

User: A 16-year-old child
Main Use: Daily note-taking and reading at a coaching institute

Tablet Requirements:
  • Should come with a cover or support so it can stand horizontally for reading
  • Will be mainly used with Microsoft OneNote for writing and organizing notes
  • Wi-Fi is needed to connect to the internet via mobile hotspot (SIM card slot is not necessary)
  • Child is already using a Samsung phone, so is familiar with the Samsung interface (but it's not compulsory to buy Samsung)
  • Pen/Pencil which comes alongwith tablet is a must as welll.

Sorry, forgot to mention not looking for Apple products.
Reason - Sync issues on One note between Windows (laptop), Android (mobile) and Tablet (Apple)

I think in your budeget, the samsung s9 FE versions/FE+ versions(with offer) will be a good option. They come with S pen in box and the bundled samsung notes is great to use. Cover has to be purchased separately.

Also checked OnePlus Pad Go how is these ?

Having used both an iPad and a samsung tablet. I recommend iPad, the app library is Huge and the device gets support for a long time. I was using iPad air (released 2013) until few months back. None of the android tablets get this much support. Get an iPad + apple pencil and it'll last a long time. Just make sure you get a device with higher storage.

OneNote is way way better on an iPad, iirc. Tried it on my tab, was very... lacking, I think. I think Samsung Notes has a way of syncing to OneNote though I'm afraid I might be wrong.
