PC Peripherals TAGAN finally being launched in india

OK , just got this insider , maybe some of you guys must be already having this tidbit , but still , TAGAN is officially now gonna be distributed by next month by Tirupati Enterprises. They are gonna be having a small PSU lineup at first , but if response is good , others will follow suit. Tagan as most of you know , is a well known runner in the Power Supply section , so lets keep our fingers crossed . :D
 
India has already become a good market for niche products in computer hardware. It's high time that companies like TAGAN launch there operations in India. I can't wait to see something like newegg.co.in :D

Dont worry , TE will be the first place to get hold of the TAGAN products.....:D.....will post more details soon.....

btw , have put in word with various distri houses for eVga , so keep ur fingers crossed :D

that depends on product and price in that order.... i dont think the response will be good if they overprice their components or use us a dumping ground for phased out/sub standard components.
 
TE member 'has33' has picked up a POV 550W SLi certified psu from tirupati enterprises for Rs.2.6K odd only. :hap2:

He said it's a Tagan 550W and will be posting more details about it soon after he has spoken to Tirupati. :D
Expect a GO soon. :P

(for the uninititated- POV = Point of View- the gfx card brand with the Chameleon- supposed to be the sister concern of PNY gfx cards) :cool2:

Its 48A, just 2A less than the Corsair HR 620 on the 12V rail but much cheaper.

And guess what...U wont ve 2 leave Ur house 2 purchase this...will post the exact cost + shipping with 3 yrs local (tirupati) warranty, on monday :hap2:

Will also post the cost of 8800GT & its availability date on monday :O

The corsair is also distributed by Tirupati only :P....anyway as u say much cheaper shouldn't it mean like 5k arnd (I know it wont be :rofl: knowing tirupati prices arnd 30-40% higher than intl prices ...so for a 150$ product this will be priced just almost same or even more than Corsair HX 620 ...being harsh but no pnt keeping people dreaming )

I think the Corsair HX620 is quite decently priced here. :P

@ has33- how much did you pick up the dual rail POV 550W for- 2.6K all incl?? :P
And can you post the rating/specs of the 550?? :)
 
OMG !! If that smps is cheaper than the 620HX .. i'll bag one :D .. coz i'm in search of a new smps for quite some time now :D ...
 
Supra...as I understood through my last conversation (I had on phone), it should cost abt the cost of Corsair VX450...which is around 4.4K :P but he couldn't commit as he needed 2 confirm with his boss who's abroad. They ve a meeting on the 28th sunday & he's gonna discuss the costing 2 various products including the 8800GT, Maximum & Turbine cabbies, ABIT IX-38 mobos, etc. Although he confirmed the ABIT IP35 PRO 4 11.5K with bill n 3 warranty & hinted the Fatal1ty F-190HD & IP35-E @ 6.5K.

Seamed quite shocked when I told him the price we got it at :lol: but he quickly replied the newegg warranty is only 1 yr (is that true ???) & his is 3 yrs local...when asked abt the RMA time taken he said its usually the same day 4 mobos & a week 4 gfx cards but he said he'll give me everything in written on Monday.

Then he shocked me right back by saying he's got a 8800GT reference card lying around :O he said he would ve let me ve a look if he was allowed 2 :@ M still planing 2 visit him 2moro afternoon 2 try n convince him.

Bikey...I'll be taking the innova...do U think U can come along ??? We could carry my CM ammo/Ur Antec lanboy & run some tests if he lets us play with the 8800GT :huh: don't think he would but m sure U can talk him in 2 ;)

Give me a call if Ur up...got loads 2 share :D
