Hello there again Techenclave members.

This plan sounds really exciting at RS. 3600/- and even more exciting when they give current unlimited postpaid users a 20% discount if going from 512 UL to 1Mbps UL.

I really want to take it but I can't pay more than 2500-2800 Rupees for this plan. Maybe if this plan is really good then I may just have to go for it, but for now I can't.

Anybody here who has taken it or is planning on taking it?

I don't think its worth it as i dont have either enough space or enough stuff to download... Also price is too High... 1.5K to 2K is more then i would pay for broadband...

P.S. I am an @ss when it comes to burning stuff on media...

Be aware that the 20% discount is only for a single month not forever. I'm currently thinking of it but not decided.

Yeah, and you don't get internet access for atleast 3 days a month :rofl:

But I agree with Switch, 512k UL is more than enuf, till its about a 10 Bucks a Gig for a HDD (heck ! its almost that :O)
 
its already 12 bucks a gig, 5 bucks would be more appropriate for those bloody season packs that keep on coming
 
yes i agree 512k is enough. if they had some double speed at night plan for a little extra it would be better..
 
I may well go for this plan for the reasons stated in another post of mine. Ya the price is high but then bsnl charges Rs.6 k a month for 512k unlimited plan , so this plan doesn't look that bad!! Anyway i don't have to pay more than 1.6k every month if i do decide to go for this.

I download a lot besides would love to watch online videos,joost,etc,etc.Watching youtube vids. on a 256k connection is just a pain in the a**.Maybe even slingbox will work with this??
 
if they offer this plan for prepaid, i'd jump onto it right away... have plenty of hdd space that i need to fill up... hehehe... 2TB in my NAS... too bad tata can't convert mine to a postpaid plan for some reason :(
 
^^ Lol...so so true man...altho maybe u could get 10 of these TATA 1 Mbps UL plans and bridge them together or something...:P
