Hey Renegade. I would like to nominate myself for a position as a moderator. I am just confused about which section to choose. I will PM you shortly.

Bumping the thread for visibility. Have received a lot of nominations. Keep them coming. We will try to finalize this by Sunday morning so lets keep Friday 12PM as the cut off date.

i know nothing about anything , can i nominate myself for GT , i am pretty much jobless so i can lurk around the whole day and night too

I feel that as a moderator you don't have to know anything about anything if you have common sense.

Anyway the following sections will be looked into by the Global Mods as of now, so you can't apply

yeah i got the answer, but when Renegade posted the post, i think it was not there, maybe he have edited it lated or it was my mistake :(

I nominate myself thee, so I may no longer receive infractions? Lol, no no I swear, if someone finds my post bad or so, I'll give warning to myself(is that possible)?

Jokes apart, I've been long enough and am active enough in this forum to act as a mod(don't worry I wont snob). Also the mod thing is something I want to do, not for "teh MOD status" but because giving responsibility makes a person responsible, and I think I'm ready.

Please ignore my past infractions and warnings, if you see my record, my warnings frequency has reduced by what 500% and the last warning I got(yesterday) was because I wanted it(it was too long since my last infraction LOL). But seriously, intentional jokes apart(Renegade, got you!), I once again say, I nominate myself(for whichever post or section you see fit, but more towards mobile phones, Graphics Cards, Games.

I think I missed something... :S

The Moderators and Community Representative both are gonna be elected by Public Voting, right??

Or is it just that the Com. Rep is being elected and the Mods are a direct appointment??

Public voting is mentioned only under Community Representative.

If anyone is interested, just shoot a PM to Renu with all details. No one is gonna blame you for trying. There is nothing wrong in putting up your hands and showing the interest to shoulder responsibility. Just make sure that you can accept things if you are not selected as a mod.
