So that was Cricket for me. Once in a lifetime one gets to watch a legend like this, and I'm so proud that I was born in this period.

When I was a kid and just begun to understand cricket. I knew only one player.. "Sachin Tendulkar". I found interest in Cricket because of "Sachin".. I still remember, I used to collect his posters, cards.. Whatever I could get.. I am 22 years old now.. Following his game for past 15-16 years.. Yeah, I was 5-6 year old kid when I started understanding cricket.

This is an end of the Sachin Era.. I feel myself so lucky, I grew up watching Sachin's game. Critics hated him at times, he proved everyone wrong.. Even in his last game, he was as good as he was in his first game..

Salute to this master.. Yes, I cried... cried a lot. I can not imagine cricket without Sachin. I spent my entire day watching this farewell.. I know we have many many many tremendous players.. But we don't have "Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar"..

He will ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED in the ground..

Lol, same here. I have at least 100 Sachin poster, and those cards which used come with some bubble gum, I even kept a diary of his records and all. I was crazy, my parents had to disconnect the cable connection because if there's a cricket match I used to watch it, and it hampered my study. On 99 world cup when he was moved to number 4, I was so sad, and I kept paying to God please out this first two batsmen as quickly as possible.
Boy those were golden days....

The moment which touched my heart the most honestly. Harsha Bhogle's comments are so, so fitting. *RESPECT*

I need to know something though... can someone kindly tell me the name of the music track being played in the background of the above video? It seems so serene yet magically powerful, perfect for the video.
