I did that already and Accel confirmed no Global warranty and thats when I refered to the below mail from Seagate.....
And this is the reason I wanted to see if its actually written somewhere about warranty...

Yes it can be replaced in India, but you need to contact us again by call or by email in future to get the approval and you need to fill up some information and attach the email with your proof of purchase.
With the approval you can have this hard drive replaced without any issue.

WD provides warranty even for drives shown as : OUT OF REGION WARRANTY, as far as I remember it was max 2 cases for a customer in a year. I had my 2TB MyPassport drive RMA-ed in Jan this year which was bought from amazon.com.

received my 240GB Intel 530 series SSD today. almost around 7 days post ordering.
Too fast and too good... Now gotta move out of Win7 and get to Win 8.1
 
Should i Go for that Westone 180$ deal? There are reviews about inflated/muddy bass response. Not being a basshead I'm slightly concerned, but the prospect of a westone 3, even if the sound signature has a minor skew, at such a price is highly tempting!
I was looking at 100-150$ earphones anyway.. will this be better than the ones in that range - like RBH EP 2 (which has got great reviews in sub 200$ range)?
