This happens almost every year for some Indian movie. Indians are delusional about the quality of movies in their own country.

But that doesn't mean that we don't have good movies capable of competing in any international event.
And I'm not talking about shit like Barfi and all.

Barfi should have disclaimer saying, 'This movie is amalgamation of following movies...'
 
^^ i agree...very difficult to act while imagining yourself to be on a boat with a tiger.
Btw, do any of you think that there might be some sort 'setting' in place for getting an award?
