High Moon Studios developed it. Not Activision. And these are the same devs. who gave us The Bourne Conspiracy and War for Cybertron.

DotM was okay. Just another TP. It got over before I realised it. :P

Like I said, War for Cybertron was a pretty good game, there are some downsides, but its not 'shit'. If you still think so, I feel sorry for you. May be you should stop judging games on the first 15 minutes of hands on :)

I'm not judging on basis of 15 mins you asked a question and i replied i went through the reviews and still went ahead to play the game.

I'm sure you are a PC gamer only

PC gamer here, and yeah it was actually a bad port, had a hard time with the controls.

Producers/Publishers, yeah.
 
To me, Dark of the Moon was a kick in the nuts after such a stellar show that High Moon Studios had put up with War for Cybertron. As far as Spider-Man games go, Web of Shadows was the only one which I really REALLY enjoyed. Multiple spideys, wide array of boss fights, varied locations, Noir Spider-Man; this game had it all. I'm not too positive about The Amazing Spider-Man though, same goes for the movie. :(
 
The movie has released in Japan on June 13th, almost 3 weeks ahead of the US release which is July 3rd. Releases in India next week i.e. 29th.

It has garnered decent reviews this far on IMDb averaging 7.9.
 
Have played all PC version games of spiderman. But one i really liked was the 'Web of Shadows'. Rest all were meh. Still have to play Edge of time. Will give this one a go definitely. Rest i hope the gameplay is better and its nice that it will be an open-world one.

Thats Shattered Dimensions, not Web of Shadows.
 
I played the game till 5 chapters heard it has around 12 chapters

1. Probably the best Spiderman game ever.
2. There is sense of freedom when web around the city its just so enjoyable just to roam around,
3. You'll fight infected as well as robots.
4. The start level reminds me of ME3 when Shepard fights the giant reaper.
5. The gameplay/combat plays out like Batman Arkham so you punch and counter enemy attacks though its not that great but its good.Also you do similar action like traversing through ventilation , stealth takedown etc.
6. The game has a good story this time around [Though its going to be same some scientific experiment go wrong blah blah] which makes the game moving.
7. There are 2 different types of upgrades Tech Upgrade and Strike Upgrade though i found both to be bit limited.
8. There is no health bar in the game neither is any health upgrade in the game only the screen turns red when you are about to die.
9. Side missions include saving citizens from petty crime , stopping speeding vehicles , taking photos & helping the infected people.
10. Comics are scattered around the city which you need to collect the pages to complete the comics.
11. Enemy is not very aggressive so you can run back and strike them easily.
12. Visuals are not that great but they aren't bad either.
13. The load times are high even for me & loading screen has unique of describing people thoughts as its shown in twitter feed.
14. The game has day & night cycle which adds variety.
15. The levels till i had played had huge variety ranging from sewers to open city to laboratory.
 
Now you ve got me a game to look forward too dinjo.

The last spiderman game which I liked a bit was Shattered Dimensions, which had variety and brilliant voice acting with witty dialogues.
Hoping this will be better.

Can you play with Peter Parker as a character as well? Or Just spiderman all the way?
