Re: The Dealer Feedback Thread

Amarbir is a cool guy, answered all my Qs when i chatted with him.

Dunno wht happened to lose his temper-didnt read the whole topic and I dont want to.

peace:):)

Re: The Dealer Feedback Thread

KMD : Usually very fast and efficient but he took 20 days to deliver a pack of DVDs. However, it was a genuine mistake and i did not leave negative feedback. Would order from him again anyday.

Mediahome.in : Again ordered pack of DVDs, received in time but plastic casing was broken.

Haven't ordered from any other dealer.

Re: The Dealer Feedback Thread

You Had No Business Yo Give Me That Feedback Once I Told you i Am Refunding Your Payment Back ,Which Meant WE did Not Go ahead With The Deal At All i did Not Accept your Money As the Day i Was Back To Work i Told You this .

Just a clarification on this point since this has been already discussed in the context of another dispute. Once a buyer and seller mutually agree for a deal and the buyer sends payment, the deal has already commenced and even if the seller decides to refund at a later point or for some reason the deal does go as it should. So buyer can leave feedback in such cases. So even in this case Amarbir, since you too have already agreed on a deal and the buyer sent payment which you accepted at first before you decided on a refund, the buyer reserves the right to leave you feedback. On the same note since you decided to refund due to some problems between you two, you can leave feedback for him as well.

As for people commenting about what Amarbir put up on his site regarding his title case typing habit, please do remember that he put that up on his own site guy's, not on TE. So I don't see your point. He just made it clear that he does not want to deal with customers who has a problem with his title case typing habit and I think its a good thing for both sides. Frankly I don't see why people complain about it when a lot of these people themselves don't use proper capitalization, puntuation and grammer to make their own writing properly readable.

Re: The Dealer Feedback Thread

Amarbir: Excellent dealer. I have been dealing with him even before he got on TE. Prompt about delivery as far as its in his hand to do so. RMA experience has also been great with same day replacement given to me. He has his own way of doing stuff and expects buyers to comply with his rules/terms if they want to deal with him. Is more approachable easily than most dealers. Recommended for those who can have tolerance towards his terms and respect them. Not recommend for those with short tempers, low patience and for those who expect their dealer to be super human. (I would say this applies to all dealers, but Amarbir's tolerance point is lower than others)

KMD: Excellent dealer. Helps you import stuff with very little hassle. Prompt. My last deal with him was delayed quite a bit from the usual and his responsiveness has also been less than usual, but I can understand that since he had run into some problems. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to want to import stuff from US.

Prashant: Excellent dealer, Deals in consoles and games for all platforms and has a sizable collection and offers decent discount on MRP. Also offers pre-orders for new arrivals. My first order has been delayed quite a bit, it was due to circumstances that were out his control. So I can understand the same. Definitely a recommended seller for anyone who wants to buy games or consoles.

Re: The Dealer Feedback Thread

Prashant: He is the best dealer in the whole of India when it comes to console games and accessories.. Has the best prices and best service..plus can even get things not available in India..

Amarbir: Excellent prices, nice guy. My only wish is that he could try to reduce the excessive delays attached along with buying from him. Otherwise, saade chandigarh de dealer da jawaab nahin.. :)

Re: The Dealer Feedback Thread

Brother ,

Amarbir Had a Communication Gap ,Could You Explain That Might Be i Could Do Something To Improve The Same .Infact i Have a Communication Gap With Several People Not Writing Thier Order Id Number In Thier Orders Payments And Me Struggling Like anything To Find It

First of all, sorry for late reply.

Now,

- Payment was made according to your guidelines. Also comment of order ID was added in comment section while performing NEFT.

And Pls, Notice that After you, complaining about the comments which you have received from others including me, I posted an SS also of my account stat in your thread clearly indicating the comment in my A/C statement. So that was clear that ICICI had somehow truncated the comment. And clarified also that "NEFT10@@@@@@ was me and order ID is Lynx-@@@@".

- After making each payment (1 for EP-630, 1 for PL-11) that too according to your guidelines, PMs were sent to you. But there were no reply from you. Also the same posted in the thread also.

- And Finally after no replies from you I had to chat with you.

- As fas as I remember On 16th of October I made a payment for EP-630 via NEFT, on same day details were sent to you. BUT DUE to COMM GAP only my payment was confirmed on 27th of OCTOBER.

So that's 11 days of gap. So I think there was a comm gap.

(Same thing did not happen in case of PL-11. Coz after making payment, I did just waited for 1 day. Next day I had a chat with you and you confirmed the payment and shipped it next day. )

So my suggestion would be,

More ways of communication sometimes lead to miss-communication. As here it's happened.

We have 3 sufficient means of communication here it-self, Thread, Posts and PMs.

(Just pointing out my case here), Rest of the 2 deals I made here, with the help of these 3 things only. There was no need to chat.

I am not saying that you shouldn't chat with us about deals or anything, It's even faster IMHO. But After communicating with you by PMs and Posts, I don't get reply then there's sure COMM GAP.

BUT final thing is deal was done, And I am pretty happy about it. I would surely deal with you again when time comes paaji. :)

Re: The Dealer Feedback Thread

I am facing an issue with KMD.I have purchased 2 sansa clip+'s from the Second GO.Though i have not ordered it in the GO i PMed KMD asking whether he has 2 extra pieces. One of which begin delivered to my friends brother in Hyderabad and the other one being delivered to me here in NZ.I have paid the entire amount exactly a month back. The first player was delivered to Hyd on Jan 2nd 2010 but i am yet to receive my second player:(.I had made arrangements with KMD to send the player to NZ through Fed-Ex.I have paid all the charges.

I was waiting for his reply for a long time.I have PMed him atleast 20 times asking for the status.I never got a reply :@.

I did PM mods thetoxicmind and Saiyan, got info that he was on vacation.I had requested him to change the shipping address as i am going on vacation.I did get a reply from KMD on Jan 15th asking me to confirm my address, after that i haven't received a single PM.The player which am supposed to get delivered to NZ is a gift to a friend of mine.He is going on vacation in a week or 10 days time,it will be of no use getting the player after he leaves.

I am not saying that KMD has cheated me or something like that.I know KMD is a great dealer here,i have dealt with him a lot many times, but waiting for month long for the product which i was supposed to get much earlier is making me frustrated and start a thread to catch your attention.

PS:KMD please reply to my PM's and ship my player ASAP.I do not need a refund as i cannot source that player here in NZ.One more query,I have purchased the Cowon D2+ from you in the month of August 2009,the player is kind of dying. I cannot send the player all the way back to India then bear shipping charges to and fro to the US.It would be great if u can give me any kind of invoice related to the same .I can claim warranty here in NZ.Even the invoice or purchase receipt from Amazon will do.

I have created a thread also in the feedback section .Posting here also.

Re: The Dealer Feedback Thread

^ Thanks for posting it here metalspree.

i hope KMD takes notice and resolves this issue.

Cheers!

Re: The Dealer Feedback Thread

Got some good news today. My friend calls up out of no where and says "I got a package from Fed-Ex,its from Mumbai :O ,i requested him to check the contents and guess what its Sana Clip+ player sent by KMD :).I wonder why KMD never informed me that he shipped the product :S.It must have not led to so much confusion,is it that KMD is not in town and his agents are taking care or he thought i will surprise Metalspree. What ever it is but KMD u must have atleast informed me.

One more good news KMD mailed the invoice for my Cowon D2+.

Even though i had some issues with you KMD,i have dealt so many times with u,I just cannot give a negative feedback. You are still the best dealer in TE and i will continue dealing with you

PS:KMD if your going thru this post please reply was to what's happening at your end.Btw .I owe u a beer when i come to India and if i could get to meet you

Re: The Dealer Feedback Thread

BuyGamingstuff : Excellent dealer, My 1st option when i have to buy anything, as he calls me instantly for example i bought the lycosa keyboard thru him, as soon as he got the order he called me, began wrapping the package before the payment came (as HDFC had delay)and as soon as the payment reflected, in 30 mins time i got the awb #, thats called true customer service, Hats off to u, and you will always remain my 1st choice even if i have to buy sumthing as small as a screw

Re: The Dealer Feedback Thread

@metalspree: Awesome news .. guess KMD does read the Feedback thread :bleh:.

Awesome stuff KMD.

Re: The Dealer Feedback Thread

i missed this thread for a while, so here goes

I dealt with prashaant and arambir, both were super awesome-o

I agree with the posters above though, arambir has too many forms of communication :D

prashaant was the best, and he was always available on the live chat on his website.

mediahome.in , on the other hand i had problems with. He replied only to 1 PM of mine, that that too coz i was frustrated and sent an angry one after 4-5 unanswered PMs. And, it took him 3-4 days to confirm my payment via NEFT, after the amount had been debited at my end.

Once he confirmed payment, he shipped out the goods the same day, but the packaging was BAD. It was a single paper envelope (no plastic covering or anything) and the envelope by the time it reached me already had holes it in. Further, there was no cushioning material. If i get time, i'll post the condition of the box of the earphones i got.

Re: The Dealer Feedback Thread

Dealt with

Amarbir - Placed an order for an offbeat/ odd item, which wasnt in stock with distri. Prompt refund, never required a followup/ clarification. - Note: EXTREMELY busy dude, so patience is important on side of customer.

Buygamingstuff - Patient seller, a good guy, again, smooth stuff, no issues.

KMD - Slow seller, perhaps bad timing from my side, one delay so far, incomplete shipment once, but cant call that a problem, for the service offered, mindblowing. Again, the super busy types.

Mediahome - I always seem to catch him at busy times, so order timings can take a bit longer. All in all a good seller too. Another busy guy.

Overall feedback: Our dealers need to appoint more assistants.

Re: The Dealer Feedback Thread

My one and only online purchase as well as my first graphic card was through Amarbir. I don't count how many times I bothered him before actually buying the product. :P But he was patient in my case and talked to me very sincerely. Even he reduced the price by a few hundred bucks. :hap2: Got the product within 3 days incl Saturday-Sunday.

And yeah, may be TE dealers need to appoint more assistants. :)
