The DRINK Thread.

I love these once in a while whenever I can procure it from the US. Hard to find in India.

Thats a nice one. If you like single malt that much, perhaps you should look into Single malt society if you haven't. 100 proof whiskey!!!

I just realized that I landed in the mecca of beers. all the pubs have atleast 50 brands and every alternate pub has brewery. :nailbiting:
Yesterday I had a guinness like beer (creamy froth) which was amber in color and much tastier. and we have a brewery next to office which brews 6 beers from blond to IPA. will keep you posted with pics :D

Ohh...why did I find this thread at all! :banghead:

Went through the whole thread at once...cant even imagine so many tastes at once. :p

Anyone with experience in Amrut? heard good things about it. :D

I do get that it was asked a long time ago. I tried it when I was Goa in June. Its too good, hard to describe, very fine, dense.

I have recently moved to Hyderabad, got no friends here. Anyone who can join for a drink next weekend or so maybe?? Have been drinking alone here.:(

@booo - you in chicago (from the coaster)?
Nah, The place is called Old Chicago. wonderful place. I am contemplating on renting an apartment close to it :hungry:

This was bought by my boss to drink while he is resting in his hotel. $15 for a bottle is pretty costly.

What to lookout for when you are entering a brewery. the tanks.

This brewery is also pretty close to where I work and they make german beer only... to the specifications laid out during 1500s in germany.

Each beer has its own glass specification.

Been a long time. I was just sticking to beer.
I am kinda loving the glenmorangie brand. Easy drinking and never disappointed me. So relaxing as if you are meditating.
