Bought a Canon LIDE 110 from Amazon for 3k. To scan the tonnes of old photos I have.
I preferred the 120 but its not yet available in India. The scanning resolution of this scanner is better than the MFD and my priority was good quality scanning. Though this is a little slow. about a minute for 1 5X 7 photo scan @1200DPI the quality is very good even if used to digital edit the image.
I am happy with the output of this scanner and can ignore the speed and sound it makes. Speed still is decent but sound is like an inkjet printer

Does not need external power. Powered by a single USB cable ...Extremely think profile.
Snug fit box. As usual excellent packaging from Amazon.
Inner tray.
The scanner taped from all sides. The tape did not leave any sticky residue after removing it ... which was nice.

This button is supposed to be unlocked before using(one time thing) and is to be locked if the scanner is being transported or moved from one place to another. Dont know why but manual said so. If you know please reply.
Then got this toy from Amazon.... dont know why

really just clicked buy after seeing this.....
Walks making a tik tik sound. Like it. Remote seems to have a very short range of about 5-7 feet (or maybe batteries are giving up).
Good for fun when kids come at home.
Photography has been my interest from my childhood but sadly noone at home was enthu enough about this art. When it came to photography everyone thought about the wedding photographers. (now a days even they earn in millions

Had a Sony H50 for last 5 years. Recently upgraded to
Canon EOS 700D DSLR. And After that I was on a
shopping spree buying accessories almost costing me more than the camera
Going on a 2 weeks trip to Srinagar / Leh Ladakh next month. Badly needed a sturdy tripod.
Having weighed on all available options decided to go for the MeFoto A1350Q1 from its Road Trip collection. Very compact and light weight to carry on long trails/treks and sturdy too.
The outer box.
The carry case. High quality nylon cloth well padded bag with a zipped inner pocket. Case itself is about 16.4inches.
The actual Tripod. Just about 15.6inches when folded. (Crappy pictures from MMX A117)
Half way extended. The padded leg can be converted into a monopod
The tripod attached to my Lowepro Pro Runner AW200. The tripod weighs about 1.6KG.
I am planning to travel more now so the compact size and weight was important. Case to case bases I would be renting the heavier Manfrotto/Vanguard tripods.
Got the MeFoto A1350Q1 from Flipkart with a 1 day delivery. Planned to get one carbon fibre from US but this one seemed more practical looking at my Ladakh trip.
