79k + 3k cashback on the way. So 76k.

PS5 + Apple TV 4K HDR movies + Other streaming + PC work and gaming. I have a LG CX 55 in the bedroom that I don’t get to do most of these, so replaced my study’s BenQ EW3270U monitor with the 42” C2.
Is Apple tv really worth the price if you already have a smart tv? What do you use is for?

How far will you be seated for viewing ?
2 ft & 8-9 inches when on PC, 3.5 ft or more when on PS5

I have LG CX 55 and have used Apple TV app, and the Apple TV 4K device as well. The app output isn’t as crisp as the device. Also, photos app is a big plus. I am heavily invested on the Apple Pro ecosystem so it makes sense for me.

That depends. If your smart TV has Android TV built in, get Apple TV. Android TV lags a lot as you use it more and it rarely gets any updates. If your smart TV has this non-Android TV and is super fast and you have all necessary apps, no need to invest in Apple TV.

a) Go to Comic Con

b) Realise you are nearly a 40-year old uncle in a sea of 20-somethings in the entire comic con

c) Get awkward and run for a safe nostalgic space to find other uncles

d) The space turns out to be Raj Comic booths with both Sanjay and Manish ji chatting and signing copies

e) Spend buttloads of money on nostalgia and childhood fantasy

f) Profit ??

What's good to see is the old Raj Comics are not just thriving, but with the English translations, the have opened up worlds for new readers (most are still the nostalgia kids though). I do find the compilations confusing, with overlapping stories etc, and the cost is mind boggling expensive for what use to be 7 INR for a paperback, and 15/20 INR for "digests" back in the heydays.

The stickers etc are decently done, but the binding of these CEs need work - major work. They don't seem strong to me, and the boxes look good, but "feel" cheap.

Anyway, picked up Naagayan CE, with tons of extra stuff, Khajana and Dracula series (some of their best works), Rajnagar ki Tabahi (one of the first Indian comics to mix video games and superheroes) and a bunch of newly written stuff - ofcourse all in Hindi since I just can't read these awesomeness in any other language. I also like what they have done with the limited editions, with embossed lettering etc.

Sad to see both the Guptas go their own way - many stories are published by both camps, and it is MEGA CONFUSING what is included in which collected editions. They just made reading a childhood comic 100x more difficult.

That’s not true. Overall, Apple TV is superior in both cases vs the native apps.

Well said and I agree with what you said.

Our Samsung TV has Tizen (or whatever they call their tv OS), and almost all ott based apps are available, but some important apps like kodi are unavailable. I tried with my friend's android box and also airtel's android box. Both these were a bit slower and I felt picture quality was excellent with native OS only. The native OS feels snappier compared to both these boxes.

Which TV and Apple TV device do you use?

My LG TV has Webos but sadly it's not super fast (comparing it with firetv stick 4k max). But I find content quality better on TVs native apps compared to firetv 4k stick.
Go to apple store if your city has one. Trial apple TV, most stores have one apple TV hooked up to a TV. Check how it is and decide.

I got a HP 930 Mouse from AMazon recently for a tad under 1.5k. Thanks to @greenhorn for sharing the deal

Its a really nice mouse, compared to my daily driver, MX Master 3. The clicks are very ehavy, they feel like they have Kailh GM8 switches in them. A bit too heavy for me but I'm sure i'll get used to it. This will probably replace the G502 Hero on my other PC.

I finally put together the PC that will replace my sandybridge PC. R5 2400G, Thermalright HR01X, Tforce 32GB DDR4 3200CL16 ram, NV1 500GB nvme ssd, a lot of hard drives, CM MWE550 V2, Thermaltake V250 TG. Decked the whole thing with ARGB fans just for a change. I couldn't find those AM4 plastic mounting thingies, else would have used a Wraith Prism cooler to complete the RGB. Thermalright HR01X is mounted using custom laser cut steel brackets I designed, laser cut and power coated.

I was going through the attic and found some old hardware. Few caps on the motherboard have exploded, I'll replace them and get this running soon.
