The "Everyday" show-off thread !

I got a HP 930 Mouse from AMazon recently for a tad under 1.5k. Thanks to @greenhorn for sharing the deal

Its a really nice mouse, compared to my daily driver, MX Master 3. The clicks are very ehavy, they feel like they have Kailh GM8 switches in them. A bit too heavy for me but I'm sure i'll get used to it. This will probably replace the G502 Hero on my other PC.

I finally put together the PC that will replace my sandybridge PC. R5 2400G, Thermalright HR01X, Tforce 32GB DDR4 3200CL16 ram, NV1 500GB nvme ssd, a lot of hard drives, CM MWE550 V2, Thermaltake V250 TG. Decked the whole thing with ARGB fans just for a change. I couldn't find those AM4 plastic mounting thingies, else would have used a Wraith Prism cooler to complete the RGB. Thermalright HR01X is mounted using custom laser cut steel brackets I designed, laser cut and power coated.

I was going through the attic and found some old hardware. Few caps on the motherboard have exploded, I'll replace them and get this running soon.

Works well at the moment. Trying to find how it will work properly in dual system. One issue I found that the usb c for this devices will not work with apple usb c cable :/ works well with the cable it came in … wired!

Curious, will that huge heat sink have any impact on board?
So the other motherboard has a similar heatsink on it for the past 15 years and mounted vertical all this time. Nothing happened to it

I Mean it might be leaning a bit right?

Okay, I now see what you mean. Its just the camera effect making it look leaning towards the bottom. CPU temp doesnt cross 61* even after 10 minutes of cinebench so nothing to worry here.

It's a HIS X1950 Pro IceQ3

That's a mid sized heat sink. But yes it definitely looks like it wasn't properly mounted/screwed.
Just that the orientation is wrong. better it is changed to pull air from the front fans. Cooling would be little better. Also, once a proper GPU is added below current orientation, that CPU fan will blow hot GPU air onto the heat sink.

Woah, how? And is the deal still up? My brother wanted to replace his Amazon basics mouse, these would've fit perfectly in our budget!
The deal ran out very soon, maybe an hour? The price was 2700 something with a 45% coupon

Do keep a lookout if it appears again. It is an absolute steal for 1500rs.
