Anyways, here's what I got this Diwali:
Razer Deathadder Black Edition
Battlefield 3 Limited Edition
Asus Xonar DG




Please don't mind the dirty mousepad, will be getting a Goliathus soon. :p Also it looks grey in the pic. :S

I thought you were eyeing the Dragon Age II edition for the DA?

How does the AD700 sound with the Xonar DG? Significant improvements? I mean it has a headphone amp as well.

Dragon Age II edition? Eh? :S When did I mention that? I was thinking about the black edition only.

There is a good difference in how the AD700 sounds. Onboard had pretty screwed up frequency response and sounded bit weird. The sound from Xonar DG sounds much more balanced now. The headphone amp definitely adds a slight boost to the vocals. Overall I would say a good bargain for 1500 bucks.

A half-decent source for my AD700 was long overdue. I should have got something like the STX by now. :p But, no cash right now and enough of waiting. :p
