Since interest in Hmt has gone dodo here and all I see are stale photos of what seems like the same Seiko watch, here's a gem.

bog standard kanchan,mint.6500 movement.
What's different is what's inside.

The movement came with it as stock. The case back is my addition,I had one modded and swapped out the original. Next is to get the case back gold plated and its all out kanchan.

Thanks. Ashok and Kohinoor are almost same. Rajat is an automatic

Rajat is not available in chennai......
kohinoor grey and black is available in chennai with the foldable bracket..... checked this last week... grab it

I sold mine for 8k recently, thats the only reasonable priced one I have seen off late.
HMT's price itself is over 8k now. Finding an ADSL02 is next to impossible

No issues...can you post a pic of your adsl02 along side a Janata or a pilot pls.

yes it's small. suitable for thin wrists only.
you should check ADSL03.

Adsl03 is the same size as adsl02,but having 20mm lugs,IIRC.
If a modern size is what you need,try for NASL/NASS 03
