Lose the match already >_<.
I pity Indian cricket fans who are celebrating not losing by an innings defeat like a victory .
And still the hype continues >_<.

Being a tech geek ( i assume you are one :P) have people wondered at your passion for the same ? Something similar going on between you and cricket fans it seems .

But again there are "Cricket Fans" and then there are "Indian Cricket Fans"... either way you dont belong to either category and so i pity you :P.

The problem is not the team. It's the fact tht they have not got one single tour match to play before.Any team will need some time to adjust in the new conditions. If I'm not wrong Eng got 4 tour games. I'm not an Indian Cricket fan or something , but I'm talking from a rational POV.

I just am hoping Sachin bats as long as possible.. wipes the deificit and IF Sachin gets out.. let the downpour from the heavens begin.

If Sachin is to be perceived as selfish, let him close in on the gap between the most no of test runs in a calendar year.

With the bowling attack India had, it is difficult to get SA out once, forget twice. So best bet India has is to adopt negative line a la Harris (of SA) in some recent Test match in India, so that SA cannot score quickly enough. That would at least ensure they can manage to draw the match.

Wasn't our nation's stellar display of its prodigal sons in the first test enough for you guys to lose interest in the thread?

India scored more than the Aussies did

and on a serious note, why is there sudden hype surrounding Zaheer Khan? He's so savior of the great Indian bowling attack, IMHO.
