Holiday well spent. Built this F1 Car out of Porsche 911 RSR (40296), thanks to free instructions from rebrickable.

One thing i can say is that if you own a technic set, dismantling it is far far tedious than putting it. You will end up hurting your fingers and breaking the black and blue pins so you better have spares available.
I am not sure if I want to rebuild MOC for technic sets at least from now as I feel building alternate builds for regular non technic legos may be far easier.

Finally done. What a build!! Takes immense effort and has so many intricate steps. Totally worth the time spent. And this thing is so huge. Weights 1.45 Kg (yes i actually measured).
And not to forget, this is not even the original lego. I got this From China for under 2K (thanks to my cousin who got it personally).
Cumulative effort of my kid and myself.
One lego mini figure and iPhone 13 for scale to show how huge this set is.

This is the BMW 1000RR Bike. Lego set# 42130. But please be aware that the one I made is NOT Original Lego. It is 1:1 copy of lego that I bought from China for under 2000 rupees (actual lego retail is 28K) through my cousin who travels to China every few months.
Search for 31147. Each Lego set has a number on the box. Easier to find with number. Even in subReddit Lego, numbers are references.
You have linked to the camera lego set.

Thanks, for the info, didn't know you get chinese lego sets, is there any Indian site that sell these?

Unfortunately no. And yes there are chinese clone sets of most of popular lego sets. Especially technic ones.
Check my earlier posts in this thread. I have posted pics of some chinese 1:1 copy of sets I bought for fraction of price of original lego of same model.
In India you won't find any store selling. Only options are getting from china based sellers using some freight forwarder or through some other ways. I have got couple of sms sets through Pandabuy but recently it has bee shut down due to a raid and no one is sure if it will come back.

Thanks to my cousin who went to China again this month, got these 3 sets. Obviously clones of original lego set..

I am not a MOC designer or anything and fews days back I asked people in Lego WhatsApp group as to how they are displaying their 1:8 or 1:10 supercars, especially ones at higher that a person's height shelf. I checked few MOCs on rebrickable, some were paid and some free but still i didn't have all parts required to make the free ones. So few days back, I decided to take inspiration from those and make my own and here is the result. It may not be sturdy and I tried to use parts i have in my box. But whatever it is, my car (which is alt build of Porsche rsr 911) is staying nicely only it and feel proud i was able to make it.

Following the above post, once I decided to make the original Porsche 911 RSR model again, I had to dismantle the stand too as the pieces were needed for the same. So now I was without a stand. That's when I had idea to use an already available stand that I was anyways not using. It is from the BMW 1000RR technic bike. The white stand isn't really useful I feel so I used it for the technic car.
Check below pics.

Bumping this thread to let people know they should keep an eye on flipkart and amazon for great deals on lego sets. In fact, flipkart has many sets for 50% off already.

Nothing interesting though. :(
Yes totally useless sale. I have seen better prices before.
Concorde i have seen for 14K/ 15K and today it is 17k. What a rip off.

Love the concorde but Damn that thing is big and I stay in a flat so no place to display. Even the knockoff isn't cheap (considering knockoff prices).

Yeah - Concorde is huge. So IS Rivendell and a bunch of others I want but have no space to set up. We need those US sized houses with basement to set up Lego rooms. :D
