Hey TTM Thanks again for your reply :)

But as per my best knowledge if we buy a Handset from TATA / Reliance Outlet, it will be locked - I mean if we buy a TATA Handset than it will work only with TATA Sim.... Same with Reliance.....

Actually I only want to buy a Standalone CDMA Handset... so that I can fit any SIM into it

Regarding the 3 Mobiles you suggested their pricing is completely affordable :hap2:

Please correct me if I am wrong at any point

First off, the three models I suggested, do lie in the price range your looking at.

And yeah, most handsets are locked to the service provider here.
AFAIK, Only the Motorola W170 & W210 are independent CDMA devices.

Can you gist me the demerits of Nokia 6303 classic

Lacks 3G

No dedicated camera shutter key

Average Image Quality

Memory card slot under the back cover

No smart dialing

No multi-tasking

No office document viewer

^ There you go.

But what makes it all bearable is its price !

hi

please help me decide between the 5130xm and 6303 classic.is there a huge difference in camera quality between them?.6303 costs 1700rs more

Nokia 5130 XM ~ Basic 2MP Cam

Nokia 6303 Classic ~ 3.2MP Cam with AF & Dual LED Flash

The latter's image quality is a touch better than the former.

Just checking - Is the 63030 Classic still the best phone for up to 8K?

Under 8K :

Music :

1. Samsung M3510 Beat ~ 7.3K*
2. SE W395 ~ 7.1K*
3. Moto EM30 ~ 6.4K*

Jack of all trades :

1. SE G502 ~ 6.9K*
2. Samsung L700 ~ 6.7K*

Value for money :

Nokia 6303 Classic ~ 6.5K*

For some reason I just don't like Samsung. My mom had a motorola and it was pretty bad. So only Nokia and Samsung.

Now, can you suggest me some phones for up to 8K or so?

Thanks a lot...
