hey i am planning to buy HTC Hero

can u tell me whether its worth buying for its cost, the authorised showroom in mumbai where i can purchase it. Also advise me whether it is better than the HTC magic or Omnia or O2 devices

please let me know.....

The HTC Hero has a definite edge over the HTC Magic.

The Samsung Omnia is more of a no-frills multimedia option compared to the Hero.

O2 devices are so passé and have nothing ground-breaking to offer.

Hello guys,

I have a few questions;

1. Is the mobile store a good place to buy a Mobile Phone from?

2. Do any of the mobile shops in New Delhi have any offers going on? Like Mobile Store has a scratch card with any mobile bought and you can win x amount of rupees off.

3. What is the cheapest price for the Nokia E75 and Nokia 6700C

4. Is the E75 a good phone? My dad needs one for upto 20K and with a qwerty keyboard and no touchscreen.

5. Nokia 6700 Classic Can I get the case without exchanging my phone?

6. Anything else to know?

Thanks

Crazysah

1. Yeah, competitive pricing and helpful personnel.

2. AFAIK, only Univercell (south) has that offer.

3. Nokia 6700 Classic : 13.1K* & Nokia E75 : 17.3K*

4. The alternative: Nokia E71 !

5. What case ?

6. I don't think so.

Don't let the "case" be your only reason for getting the phone.
And I'm not sure if you can get one without exchanging, you could probably buy it for what it's worth.

Also - the case was not the only reason for buying the phone, my dad really liked it and said I should get it and also when I tried it out, it worked really well...

Well now I am allowed upto 12-13K so can you suggest me some phones?

Thanks

Going with the Nokia 6700 Classic. Read the whole review at GSM Arena and it seems an amazing phone for the price.

Any accessories/extras I should buy with it?

Thanks

Not really.

Get a screen guard and a good case for the phone.

Bluetooth headset and high capacity memory cards are optional. :)

Hi

I am thinking of buying a used Nokia 9300i
The main use is browsing the internet and checking my emails when my PC is not on as i have wifi and some light telephone calls

The set is 4 years old.

Is it worthwhile going for a used 9300i set ?
Is it successful ?
Not much data on the net for this model.

My only attraction for the model is the 4" screen in the 9300i and the price tag of 4k

Any suggestions and pitfalls i should watch out for when i buy the phone ?

I need to buy a phone for My daughter,s birthday on 19th Oct, she is a Clinical Psychologist- my budget is 20k
Her Requirement is a smart looking phone-5 MP cam-very good Touch screen-good music and video player-Wi-fi etc etc.
I have been quoted 17.8 k for Samsung Jet from Chandigarh.
Are there better choices for me within this 20k ?

The Nokia 9300i was indeed successful during its time.

And you've got a sweet deal for the same.

What you need to check :

Physical condition.

OS issues & Firmware

Bundled accessories

Battery Life (You can always buy a new battery)

Shortcomings :

-Slow processor by today's standards

-Outdated OS

-MMC only

-No Camera

-No Radio

That apart, a great device to communicate & explore ! :)

The Samsung Jet is the best touch-screen device in the 15-20K price range.

Your also getting it for a good price.
