I am looking for a phone with dual standby .I mean both the sims should be active a given time .Like while making call in one sim we should be able to get message in another.One more requirement is that the phone is for a heavy texter who uses Nokia phone and is addicted to the T9 dictionary ,budget not sure as dont how much a decent one costs.

Other requirements

1) Good looking phone ,feels soild

2) Good build quality

3) A decent cam with flash.

4) Preferred candybar

5) No touch screen

OT: If dual SIM is not a must then the Nokia C5 is a very good phone for ur requirements.

I'm looking for a phone around 8k. Main specs - wifi, 3g. touchscreen/qwerty or both.

Preferred brand - SE, Nokia. Other brands also welcome.

Any form factor.

Please suggest at least some 4-5 phones (if there are so many with the features I need) so that I can do some research.

I've shortlisted these, although they are over my budget.

SE hazel, E63,Samsung 5801 Galaxy 3.

Which seems to be the better one? And what could be their approx prices?

Get samsung monte if you don't wan't android and better camera and bigger screen and samsung galaxy 5 is you want android

Hazel has a good camera but samsung galaxy 3 is better than hazel except camera

U can go for the Elm which has all features of the Hazel but is a candy bar phone with smaller screen. Price is ~9.7k from flipkart

Budget eight thousand to ten thousand
Looking for a non android phone
Because they do not support wap.
Music is the deal breaker.
I like SE mega bass but did not like nokia 523* with pl-11 for music.
Also would want better camera, wi fi, 3g, .jar file support (since some samsung phones do not support them i.e corby, star, pixon that i know of)
If phone gets charged through usb during pc sync nothing like it

As Madnav suggested Samsung Wave

I think Nokia X6 with a price tag of 16500/- will also do nicely. Xenon Flash 5 MP CAM.

In the range of 25k, the upper limit set by you..

Just confirm the pricing for Motorola Milestone XT 720

8 MP Cam with Xenon flash.

All Mov file supported (popular ones)

Android Based.

Samsung monte is the best deal
but I do't know of it doesn't support jar

^can any samsung monte user confirm this?
I want to install .jar files for opera mini, bolt browser, UC web browser along with ebuddy, nimbuzz. These are generally .jar setups.
