okay so if this game is like dirt 1, no way i'm playing it

as i said somewhere, i got dizzy playing dirt 1

I don't really see him saying its like D!RT 1. He is saying that his fav game in the series was the first.

means there are tons of similarities, and that he enjoyed the mechanism best in dirt(which i hated like hell).

exactly.

dirt 1 is still the best IMO because it had awesome trucks, better locations, better menu, better career mode, no stupid gymkhana events.etc

edit: Dirt 3 is still better than Dirt 2 even though its a bit short. :bleh:

i'm trying to determine if indeed i wont like it or i'm just speculating, cant you let me do that at peace?
 
Received the game. Will install it when I go home. Just noticed this game uses the wonderful GFWL :| . Can I add it to my Steam account?

Nope I don't think so. GFWL games cant be added to steam( i mean you can add to list, but whats the point?)

I just received my copy of DIRT 3 but realised that my DVD drive is broken. Will buy a new one tomorrow guys. Samsung drives suck big time.
 
ill be getting a copy of dirt 3 for ps3. if anyone wants lemme know. 2k local pick up from my house in bombay. brand new but opened copy.
 
The game is give me a minimum of 34 frames and an average of 43 frames at 1080p with all Setting at Max possible but with 4X MSAA

Really Gorgeous Graphics

I'M Loving it along within my new ST2220M, ATH-M50 AND XBOX CONTROLLER

The Youtube posting feature is a fun too...but still now didnt upload as i drained all my MB limit for this month<BSNL Night plan>

Got the game today... installed it and played it too... The games looks gr8... havent played the gymkhana yet so wont comment on that...

but some of the things were downer for me..

1. The cars felt very light compared to Dirt 2. Which automatically gives an arcady feeling to the game. the collisions were not that good. The trucks didnt felt like they had power in them. They seemed to float in the air while moving accross the off road terrain.
2. There were no tracks left behind by the tyres in the snowy terrain or dirt terrain. Dont know why it was that hard to incorporate this in the game.

Apart from these the sound is awesome to hear, Menu is good but as good as dirt2.

Overall impression good game but not better than Dirt2 which is little let down for me at the moment.:(

Yet to try the multiplayer too..
