Vice versa...for me I feel it is punishing to play the game on Easy as an arcade racer when it has so much more to offer,

The thrill of the game to me is Pushing the Car and taking 100's of decisions in a minute, DownShifting and holding Gears for sections....

not really about completing career, spending nights on a track tuning the right car for chasing the WR online !!

Yes the game is way to easy on easier difficulty,,,,And maybe its only me but I don't like Gymkhana at all....Not even a real sport IMO.
 
^In my opinion, the key is to create a balance. I played the first few races on easy just to get the hang of the controls and then shifted to medium difficulty. The medium difficulty is perfect for me, its not too easy and its not too hard, I do get challenged by it occasionally. In the end, no matter what the difficulty, you should enjoy playing. Now, I would have tried the harder difficulty if it provided me some incentive but as of now I don't see any reason to do so.

Even I have a mixed opinion about Gymkhana, some of the aspects are good while others are just plain frustrating.
 
^ That sucks really. Completing in harder difficulty should fetch more reward points. :(

Anyways. Performance seems to be great from what you guys have posted. :D
 
Nextworld has shipped it too. Just got the email this morning. I don't think they transport on Sundays.

I am playing GRID these days to improve my racing skills. I am playing with an XBox 360 controller. Should I keep the driving assists on or off? I don't see a big difference between the two.
 
Played the game. Actually, this is the first game of DiRT series that I'm playing. Didn't liked it. Clearly DiRT not for me.
 
I payed for this, gonna play this no matter what. I am actually in the danger of not being able to play this because of my system specs.

you and I are of the same gang, me too don't like Dirt, won't bother this a try

Same case with Fable 3, it still seems glitchy, boring, sims style stupid baby making and wife making decisions, hate hate
 
BTW, do you think DIRT 3 will run on my system? I will upgrade in Aug-sept but have to stick with my present system will then. CPU is OC'ed to 2.90GHz.

This a brilliant Game! Lovin it! Much better than dirt 2! Controls are much easier this game..Hope it doesnt get any easier than this or it will become too arcady!

Gfx wise its stunning! And its optimized to the core! Kenya track's look goddamn photoreallistic! :cool2:
