Re: The One is here............Finally

^^ its 34k with express shipping at 20North. ( that too 14 days )

And they are very unreliable when it comes to delivery.

Congrats! How is the touchscreen compared to the iPhone? I find the iPhone's touchscreen the best of all phones on the market by far.

Its been 6 months since i touched the iPhone.

but so far its been good. Its precise and accurate. Keyboard could have been better, but there are alternatives to choose from in market so thats taken care off.

The screen itself has no issues. Just getting used to different button position at the bottom is taking some time getting used to.

I am not new to Andriod, so honestly I had low expectations as far as changes I would expect from Nexus. And that holds true.

Functionality wise, Hero with its Sense is still better than this. But Nexus is faster and has better screen.

I still miss some things like contact widget of HTC, Bookmarks widget of HTC.
Nexus is more pure Andriod. Closer to Dream (before it got sense) and G1 than likes of Hero.
They did add multiple screens like in Sense.

Overall, I miss some things about Hero. And thats complements to HTC and the way they have taken WM and Android platform to another level.

Other than that, I still stick to my opinion that this is better functional device than iPhone, in fact IMHO, Hero is better functional device than this and iPhone.
Its just that Nexus has that meaty snapdragon under its hood, and it does help.

Added second set of pictures of phone in use.

Enjoy. Dont plan the review to be honest. There are plenty out there. Yes, some of them are form idiotic Apple fanboys, but you buy nexus if you know what you want :P

Do plan to add a guide in mobile sections. I found plenty of things that you need to know to flash / upgrade / downgrade are not properly put up even in XDA devs for nexus.

Somehow I get the feeling that those who know things there try to be extra smartass these days without revealing how they bypassed or resolved certain issues.

Take an example of the bootloader unlocking, simply downloading fastboot does not work, but noone is even replying to many people asking for help.

Anyway will put up a Dummy proof guides in coming days.

Like how some over here are trying to be extra smart ass by not giving us damage figures and mode of procurement :bleh:

Don't be a spoil sport... you know show-offs are no fun without damages ;)

Get with the program already
