^^ thats wickeD!

may i ask how :)

Sure.. I had a table lamp which has perforations in its holder(the dome which hold the bulb). I put in an incense stick in one of the holes and then click photos at such an angle so that only the smoke is seen and not the actual bulb light. ofcourse all this against a black background and no light!

Sorry, I cannot explain better then this, I am still a newbie in photography!.

PS: shallow depth of field is used (f2.8) and high shutter speed (1/160 - 1/200) so that still smoke can be captured...

:)

first attempt at HDR, woke up at 6am today :)

excuse the smoothing, the pictures were clicked with auto-bracketing, but hand-held

EDIT:: ok here are the rest of my attempts, all handheld, clicked today, fresh outta the oven :)

dint care much for the first one, these ones are a bit more realistic

@pappu, when staring at the sun directly with lens you can be better off with underexposing a bit... isnt it?

@blufox : excellent perspective

more than that, i think its the PP which decides what it looks like, since you already have 3 exposures..
i mostly used 0/-2/+2 EV

Sea shell musicians (not sure in which exhibition I took this image ,but shoot this pix @ 1600iso .So,quite sure it was quite dark )
