The Photography Thread !

I have to try the Lightroom software now, PS is amazing and gives me a free hand, but PPing 100 or more pictures is very time consuming in PS..

Lightroom is really handy and doesn't require much expertise compared to PS...the Noise Reduction feature is just awesome...also you can enhance sharpness in Lightroom easily, effectively and selectively (the awesome Alt key feature)...I never got hold of USM in PS :D

Nah, I got turned off when someone told me I cant use layers in Lightroom, and PS was working for me, dint want to reinvent the wheel. But everyone who has used Lightroom, has told me its very useful. My next batch is gonna be processed in Lightroom for sure :)
 
I found Lightroom to be excellent too and it saved me a lot of time. However, I recently made the switch to Aperture and I'm finding it even better :)

I switched from Aperture to Lightroom :D. I felt lightroom gives more control for enhancing the pics.
 
Initially, even i resisted LL.. but as the number of pics grew larger, pp-ing it all became a challenge. So now I first LL it and then the very "best" ones among it get pp'd :ohyeah:
 
@freaky : thanks for suggestions, I tried cropping the bottom three pics but it took away the major bunch so did not do it, the leaves are a distraction in first two but I could not avoid it. will try again sometime. In the last mango tree one, there was wind in the air and focus was getting lost every time I tried so this was best sharp shot I could get. I am still learning :P, so such creative inputs will help me to improve. Keep the suggestions coming.

@hater thanks for the kind words.

@madnav : playing with exposure, blacks, saturation, hue, highlights, darks in Lightroom will give you dramatic colour effects. :)
