I've no idea who is responsible. The perception allowed to form is that of American involvement in the downfall of Hasina.
It never made sense to me why the Americans would want such a destabilising outcome. Biden or not. Meaning what's in it for them other than ensuring fair elections?
All this talk about American base in Bangladesh could be yet another deflection for a Chinese one disguised as Pak support.
I also didn't have a problem with American involvement in Bangladesh because more American involvement in the region usually means bigger headaches for Beijing than New Delhi. More Indians should recognise this particularly when it comes to regional developments. Don't let the liberal lefties sway you here.
For China however there are obvious advantages given geography for an india averse government to take over in Bangladesh.

This is what I wanted. I did a text search for brics on his TS page and chrome couldn't find the post. After manually scrolling i found it.
Anyway this is just a repeat of what he already has said earlier.
Our Joker NSA does not have a clue ? Our Joker MEA does not have a clue ? Issue with Bangladesh and Srilanka is that they beg India for bail outs but they act like criminals when they look at India .
Most of the Srilankan and Bangladeshi citizens and refugees are spread far and wide in Asia , Europe and Amercia . Most of them are doing better than Indians in those regions . So foreign remittances are good and they will survive .
For example Bangladeshis migrate to Solomon Islands and marry locals . The local laws are women centric - meaning that all land from the family goes to women and not men . All that they do is to go there ,marry a local and settle down . Same with Srilankans . Many countries have banned visas or shadow banned Bangladeshis entering their country .
The pacific people have learnt the art of bargaining with US and the China . So both the powers keep giving free money to maintain their relationship ,access and superiority . Now , the same is happening . Srilanka and Bangladesh seem to be following that with India and China . The USA has issues all over the world to deal with and I am sure they are not focused on Bangladesh as we speak . They know China and India will weaken themselves giving aid , infra projects , businesses to the countries around Indian sub continent .
Now , the bigger problem is while Indian govt keeps doling out tax payers money in the name of relief and funding , the actual problem is with crony capitalists who are seeking a pie from these countries behind back door . Back door strong arm tactics are not working out because they have the Chinese influence to counter and they turn rogues . But , the bigger rogue is the one promoting the cronies and forcing these countries to act counter against the interests of our country .
