Telltale Games has announced The Walking Dead: 400 Days, a new episode for "The Walking Dead: Season One." 400 Days follows five characters -- the subjects of the developer's numerous teases last week -- whose stories all play out in a single new episode.

From what I've heard, it does carry your saves over. Not sure how it would influences your decisions in this DLC though.

Yes I did. I kept a back up on my hard drive and sent it to cloud storage almost immediately. To be honest, I never expected a DLC to come out for this season. From the trailer, it seemed like a stand-alone story, complete with fresh new characters. I'm not sure how this will tie in with the first season's storyline/characters.

Likewise, mate. Never thought this game will get a DLC. I'm screwed really. Might have to replay the game once more.
 
I think I have my saves stored as well. I have made it a point to backup the saves of some of the titles ever since Mass Effect 2 started this concept. Anyways, this is awesome news. Looking forward to the DLC!
 
Ok got it confirmed from the official site that the choices made in season 1 carries over in 400 days. Not only that, but also the choices made in this DLC would carry over in the second season.

Will my choices in Season 1 affect 400 Days and will my choices in 400 Days affect Season 2?

Yes. 400 Days will check to see if you have a Season 1 save file. The decisions you made in Season 1 will have an effect on your 400 Days experience. And yes…choices made in 400 Days will resonate in
Season 2.

Today, IGN can confirm that 400 Days will launch this week. Specific dates for various platforms are below.

Friday, July 5th – Xbox Live (Worldwide)

Holy cow! That was sooner than I expected. Can't wait for this weekend. But first I need to grab the original game again, as it requires a minimum of episode 1 to be playable.
 
It was indeed a surprise , also not sure why they are delaying 360 version by 3 days

The Walking Dead: 400 Days release dates announced

400 Days, the add-on chapter to The Walking Dead’s first season, will be releasing this week, Telltale has confirmed to IGN.

The website’s got all the launch details for the pack across multiple platforms. The PS3 will get it first, with the North American release scheduled for tomorrow, and iOS users will get it last, with a release date of July 11.

I recently started Walking Dead, "other" version, and the cutscenes are extremely choppy and freeze up for 3-4 seconds regularly. Anyone faced the same issue?
 
Also read in the news that the EP 1 of the game will be required to play 400 days as it serves as a bridge between EP1 and EP2, the save from EP1 will be used.

Cant wait for it to launch, this was one of the best games released last year.
